Atlantic Automotive Industries

My van was diagnosed as having a problem with the Power Control Module and my husband found Atlantic Automotive Industries on the web. He spoke to the man in charge there, Ben Booth, who assured him that they could refurbish the unit for $299 and ship it back. When it was finally received about 2 weeks later it had a crack in the case and the van was having the same starting problem. We were told to ship it back which we did. After not hearing from them for nearly 2 weeks my husband called Ben and after being “disconnected” several times was given various excuses, treated with rudeness and accused of breaking the unit’s case. We waited until I called on 3/26 and was told the part had been “a few days ago.” Ben never called as promised and I attempted to reach him on 3/30 but was “disconnected” several times. I decided to call all available lines using my house and cell phone and kept reconnecting with Ben’s extension every time the call was sent back to the company’s recording. After about an hour of this Ben finally picked up and became extremely rude and gave various excuses and hung up on me. I called again repeatedly and he said he would overnight the part that he suddenly was able to locate. The part arrived yesterday and of course it doesn’t work. I had to have my van towed to the Dodge dealer to be repaired where it is as I am writing this. Warning to any consumers DO Not use this business–Atlantic Automotive Industries, LLC. I couldn’t find anything negative on the internet prior to using them but have since found out that they have 2 complaints against them already this year according to the Florida Department of Consumer Affairs where I am also filing a complaint.
