I am a 71 year old on SS. I hv been overwhelmed with Medical bills & other financial responsibilities. I wanted to consolidate my bills, engaged with a company named Fingo Group. Gentleman I spoke with gave me all the information & I thought this would be good in 3 years I would be debt free. To make a long story short, I had to pay $300. fee in april 2011, I was then req to pay $335.02 every month. They were supposed to handle four bills through Atlas Consumer Cooperative, Texas. I keep asking why I have to belong to a Cooperative. No definitive answer. After many calls and letters and paying a total of $1640. I cancelled. Found two other seniors on-line with same complaint. They did nothing but take my monies, even though they could have paid off 2 of my bills which was small. I rec refund back from Fingo, but Atlas will not refung the $900, they took for doing nothing…
