Audi means something to me. When I walk into an Audi shop, I’m not only going to buy a car but the full experience. I was really disappointed whit the overall experience at this place, and I wouldn’t recommend anybody to go there.
So, I’ve had my Q5 2017 for quite a while, and I wanted to upgrade to the 2020 model. I chose this center because it was the most convenient location for me, I thought that it didn’t matter because, after all, Audi will always offer the best service. Thanks to the guys at Morton Grove for proving me wrong.
I went in, no one greeted me; I waited there for 30 minutes with other 4 people, but no one came. After 40 minutes, I was the only one left in the waiting area, and someone finally showed up.
Jerry helped me take a look at some cars, I told him exactly the one I was looking for, but they didn’t have it. While I don’t blame the Audi team for not having this particular model, I do hold them completely responsible for hiring incompetent, greedy people that don’t know how to treat a customer.
I tried to leave because they didn’t have the car I wanted, and every time I mentioned it, Jerry would throw offers and special deals that didn’t really benefit me at all. I stood my ground and said I wouldn’t budge, he kept insisting, to the point that he was actually staying in front of the door, so I wouldn’t go out. I had to scream at this man to shut his mouth and let me go, it was really uncomfortable.
I made the incredibly dumb mistake of going there again a few days later, I had seen their catalog online, and the new Q5 was there, so as long as I got someone different, everything would be alright.
Jerry greeted me again, so I went straight to the front desk to request for someone else, but there was no one available. I thought that if I left my terms very clear; maybe, he would limit to just help me get the paperwork done, to my surprise, it actually worked.
And then, Jerry wasn’t the only problem. The car was there, and I was ready to take it home, but the financial department kept giving me numbers that didn’t match anything I had seen before. The price was at least 2 times more than what was indicated on the website, and when I asked if they would honor the online price, he adjusted the sum to be even higher. I wasn’t going to spend my life there waiting for them to get things right, so again, I decided to just leave. Jerry didn’t stop me then, but later that day and ever since then, I’ve been receiving emails, messages, and phone calls with offers and financing advertising for the Q5.
I deeply regret ever going to this place, and I hope this comment saves you from their trap.
