I ordered a body part from autobodypartsonline.com April 12, 2002 and received a confirmation number. My credit card account was charged immediately for this item and I waited 60 days for item to arrive. I placed calls to the listed number (310-538-5900) 6-7 times and sent e-mail to “support” (?). With each phone call I was either placed on hold, got no response and had to place the call again (from Ohio to California), or was eventually connected to “shipping”. Never did get a response to my e-mail at “support”! When I was able to talk to someone, I would get a different story each time. Several times, I was told the item would ship within 2 weeks. Another time, I was told it was being shipped from overseas and was in transit AND would be shipped with two weeks. I was finally told that the item could not be supplied so I asked that the order be cancelled and my charge card be credited. I was told this would be done within 24 to 48 hours — I was told this not once, but several times. Each time I would check for the credit and, of course, there was no credit made. With my latest call (routed thru the same people as before), I was told to call back at 4pm (California time) and talk to “Steve” for credit. I did return the call at the indicated time and was told to call back later (20-30 minutes). I indicated politely that I was calling from Ohio and this was my third call today and I asked if he would actually be available in 30 minutes, at which time this representative hung up on me without another word. As of October 12, 2002 still no mdse or credit of over $300… Jim Cincinnati, Ohio
