It was mid of June when I decided to join the Barre3 Paradise valley for being in better shape and to remain fit and healthy. As soon as I entered the gym I tried to move forward to the office but the passage was occupied by a bulky man doing his strength workout with the ropes basically, I requested him to pardon and excuse me for a while, but he showed me another way instead of giving me a way to cross the passage, there were two entrance to the office for which I had to walk to the other passage to get to the office.

The manager was sitting on his chair enjoyed watching TV and was not at all paying attention to me, I knocked on the door once but he didn’t pay any attention, I knocked again loudly so that it could reach his years this time, then he told me to sit and then was again busy watching the TV. The show seemed more interesting to him rather than the customer. I pardoned myself and asked him for the requirements for admission. I, fortunately, carried everything with me which was required. After a bit of paperwork he asked me for the payment, he made me choose between the half-yearly and the yearly membership for the membership. I chose half-yearly, therefore he asked me to pay the whole money in advance so, I asked him about the refund policy to which he said that whenever I would leave the gym the left put money would be refunded.

Everything was okay till now, two-three days passed by until I saw the manger coming towards me and he seemed to be in a very angry mood. He suddenly started screaming at me, telling me not to use the metal plates near the wooded area as it might break them, I didn’t know about it since I was a new member. He then ordered me to keep those metal plates back in their place and do more of bodyweight exercises for another week. I opposed him because I have been already doing a lot of bodyweight exercises back at home and the reason to join the place was to put on some weights. He became more furious and screamed at me telling me that I have to listen to whatever he says or else I would be kicked out of the gym. He made me feel discriminated and harassed in front of the whole crowd.

The next day I told him to cancel my membership and give me my refund back because I didn’t want to stay any longer where people scream at me for no good reason. He then said that the money would be refunded soon to my bank account directly. It’s been a month and finally, I got my refund back after so many calls and reminders to the manager. Never step into the Barre3 Paradise Valley because the manager is too wicked and very hard to handle, he may even thrash you for arguing.
