Appalling customer service and a complete lack of taking any responsibilty. We had our induction hob fitted just over 2 weeks ago and have noticed it is cracked towards the back. We have the Beko standard warranty and at the time of registering this we were sold the extended warranty. Our first port of call was Beko, who advised us they would not send an engineer out without a photo of the crack – have they tried taking a picture of a crack on a black gloss hob – clearly not! So I tried to get some help via the extended warranty – they were not interested as it is not accidental damage. So back to Beko and after a lengthy telephone conversation they said they could send an engineer out but if the fault was not mechanical or a manufacturing fault it is not covered and we are liable to pay the call out. Beko are clearly not interested and we will cancel our extended policy and take out insurance via a Company that cares. Never ever buy a Beko product!!

Beco customer service refuse fix or exchange my faulty waching machine bough from Tesco direct. beko have a very poor customer service employee here in Philippines. Me and my Wife is a Person with Disability we already submitted our complaint 2 weeks ago with regards to our washing machine and up to now no one is checking on it. they always make cheap reasons and allyby for not attending to our concern at they covering each other”s back. Beko Refridgerator (with builtin cooler), bought 10 months ago (so still within the warranty period), started malfunctioning 2 weeks ago & I contacted their local agency (Naseem Al Dada comp.) for repairing & maintenance & within 10 days I recieved 3 maintenance teams who changed many parts (including the compressor) with an average visit of 3 hours per each but the refridge got worse & worse. The stuff inside it was spoiled many times & I lost them, I asked the agency to replace this malfunctioning refridge with a new one as I can;t tolerated more problems with it & even I can’t trust the maintenace of the agency, till now they are not cooperative, knowing that I’m suffering since more than 2 weeks, my family size is small (working husband & wife) so no heavy usage for it. I made a written claim for the local agency as well as the Ministry of Commerce & Industry in Jordan to solve & follow up this issue seriously. Beko Washing Machine WM74165W: Deplorable Repair Service 23 month old washing machine drum stopped rotating and unable to do washing, 12 Jan 18 reported to Beko. 18 Jan 18 Beko engineer declares failed motor., would fix within 7 days. 6 Feb 18 engineer replaces motor and declares it fixed. Did not watch what he did but did not offer showing it worked, 15 minutes after he left loaded washing and switched on. It was in the same state as before the repair with drum not budging. How was this possible? 8 Feb 18 engineer declares motor failed again. 26 Feb 18 motor changed and main PCB changed, said just happened to have on his van when he had ordered it on 8 Feb 18!, before trying after just the motor change. Machine worked! Undoubtedly it was the PCB that had failed. 5 weeks and 4 days without being able to wash at home is not a joke! Their online brag “Don’t let a broken washing machine leave you without clean clothes” and claim “We can fix your washing machine problems” are pie in the sky as they can’t honour either of them. The “IN STOCK” motor and PCB can be ordered online by anyone for “next day delivery” yet Beko took an unexplained 5+ weeks! Over 8 hours on multiple telephone calls for repair progress, and additional time on emails, being transferred or referred from/by Beko to D&G and vice versa, was mental torture with each passing responsibility from one to the other. No explanation has been given for the delays choosing to skirt around the issue. Beko have complete control for in and out of warranty repairs referred to them and the engineers tasked with them. They have shown contempt the customer by being unconcerned at the plight and inconvenience, of having to do the washing elsewhere, due their snail pace repair service. Having admitted it “WAS BELOW STANDARD” how can they dodge responsibility and justify refusal of compensation? Claiming that they have “taken action to mitigate some of the issues experienced” is like admitting to trying to shut the stable door after the horse has bolted! Repeatedly saying “SORRY” is not redress or a magic fix! Beko are members of the Association for Manufacturers of Domestic Appliances (AMDEA) whose CODE OF PRACTICE Section “The Manufacturers’ Service Commitment” states “Most service calls will be completed on the first visit, and if a second visit is needed to complete the repair the reason will be given. Every attempt will be made to complete the repair within a further seven working days. Exceptional circumstances preventing this will be explained to the consumer.” Beko claim they always strive to meet this Code of Practice and do not believe that they have failed to do so in this case and that it is a voluntary code. This is a pathetic cover up as they have dealt with this issue paying scant regard ro the code. With no enforcement powers AMDEA’s Code assurances are as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike and they just forward complaints to Beko without action. Calling Beko on telephone number [protected] greets you with “Welcome to Beko Customer Service” yet throughout the multiple confusing selection options presented Customer Service does not get another mention. When selecting the option for OUT OF WARRANTY you are put through to Domestic & General without being informed and they do not say that they are D&G and believe you are talking to Beko! They persuade and convince you that the best option is to take out their expensive Repair & Protect Plan with a promise of a simple and quick repair. Beko have stated that D&G are their out of warranty repair department! From the Managing Director down Beko have demonstrated a complete lack of interest and care for a customer with a broken washing machine. When called they would not explain the delays and did not notify any of them. The MD showed lack of interest and concern by not responding to emails. They have not commented on the lack of durability and short lifespan. Beko’s treatment of customers is lamentable. Rather than carry out repairs in a reasonable time they have enjoyed subjecting a customer to a nightmare experience without remorse or guilt. The avoidable delays caused more frustration, aggravation and despair. How can anyone be happy purchasing any Beko product knowing that you’d have to be prepared for disappointment when it breaks down and experience a rough unpleasant repair ride?

bought the fridge frezzer in july 2018 and as soon as it arrived I had to have beko out to replace the frezzer door seal as it was not closing properly. now the frezzer is doing the same again and not sealing propery and letting air in and coursing ice to build up around the door. also the fridge door seal has a split in it too. both seals need replacing and I cant understand why as I had a hotpoint fridge frezzer before for 9 years and never had any of this.

Dear Beko, I bought the previously mentioned model of a refrigerator from Cairo Egypt on the 10th of August 2016, on the 10th of June 2017 it stopped working completely without any obvious reason. I contacted Beko Egypt next day on their hotline 16165, they registered my request and next day they”ve sent a technician to my house. The technician could recognise the place of the problem and told me that a piece (electronic board) should be changed, he took a photo of that piece, also of my guarantee certificate and sent an email to the company ( Beko) the same day. Next day I called the hotline to follow the case as I live in Sharm El Sheikh ( very hot at the moment) and I have 7 months old baby, they told me that very soon the piece will be sent to you. I”ve been calling them everyday now and made many complains because they”ve never gAve a date of when that piece should arrive. Today the 20th of June I”ve called them again and after a long conversation they”ve accepted to refer me to the man responsible for complaints department who told me that the piece is available in cairo but I have to wait till they complete the shipment to Sharm El Sheikh and he doesn”t know when ( his name is Islam) I would like to complain about the customer service of Beko Egypt as they don”t take customers” complaints seriously, they don”t have a system, they don”t have real informations to tell, all their answers are vague regardless the customers” suffering

Dear Sir/Madam, I have recently purchased a Beko Oven from Currys. even after 2 weeks after the oven arriving I cannot use it, as the tray brackets inside the oven are not evenly placed so when the tray is placed inside the oven its not staright hence the oven cannot be used. A company like Beko should not making products like these utterly disappointed in the service… I have taken time off to get the product delivered and to find its not up the specification promised and not being Able to fully use the oven. I called your customer service on 26 June asking for maintenance and they promised that someone will call me within 72 hours. On Thursday 28 June, I called the customer service but they mentioned that 72 hours are not over and they promised that someone will call but no one called. Good morning sir or madam I am very concerned about the purchase of the above product from you, the machine has broken down on the 23-10-16 ( 7 weeks from purchase). On the [protected].40 an engineer attended too carry out repairs he diagnosed it needed a new motor, new control panel and DC board. As of the 28-10-16 the repair parts are still yet too arrive, we are now looking at possibly a delivery of parts at the earliest on the 1-11-16 which could then mean a repair by 3rd or 4th of November. Having purchased your products before, infact we have a Beko dishwasher and tumble dryer at present. Hi, We had bought a mini bar from your Egypt shop since end of June and on the very first day it proved to be defected. By contacting your retailer they sent a technician who made a report about the fridge and it stated that it was a defected piece. That took place since the begining of July. Since then we are chasing and pleading to get our money back with no response or professional treatment. Actually, you are far away from anything called professionalism and nothing seems to be working to get this resolved. I can’t keep chasing all day long forever. We need our money back before this week’s closure. Matter had been pending since end of June till date. Also we need money to be delivered to doorstep with whoever will come to pick up the fridge. At least offer that for us as a kind of apology and compensation for the torture we had been witnessing in our terrible journey with u. I am a tenant who received an brand new beko washing machine to replace an old zanussi machine. I was thrilled to receive a beko one as I know so many people who have them and they have all been really pleased with them. However! After just one week of having the machine I opened the door after it being on a 28 minute daily quick wash (8kg) a puff of white smoke came out of the door and smelt like burning. I was very concerned it may catch fire. I called the number for an engineer to come out. He looked at the machine and said the fact it was white smoke means it”s not electrical it sounds more likely to be from friction of the drum and seal. He said I must have had it on the super quick daily wash 14mins which is for a maximum 2kg. I said I was pretty sure it was not on that setting but he assured me that was the reason. After he went it seemed ok for a few weeks. I stopped using the 8kg daily quick wash as I did not trust it. So started using the cotton wash. However even using this cycle intimitenly still does the same thing. Smoke comes out after I open the door my washing smells of burning therefore I have to wash it all over again. I said to the engineer when he came out I feel it must be a faulty machine as I know several people who have the same machine and they have all said they have never experienced anything like this. I am not overloading the machine firstly because I haven”t done in the past but after the first incident I have been even more cautious. Which defeats the object of having a supposedly ***A machine. When I am having to do double the washing then having to rewash when it decides to have a wobble and make everything smell of burning. Over the last 4 months of having this machine as I said previously it has done this on at least 5 occasions with different types of wash loads. I have lost all confidence in the machine as I feel there is some kind of fault with it and I fear that it could lead to a full on fire or breakdown of the machine. It comes with a 1 year warranty and if it carries on the way it is going I feel that it will lead to major problems later on in its life. I have an engineer due to come out on Thursday 1st march. I am writing to you as I feel I do not wish to keep this machine and would like a new replacement as I do feel there is a fault with this machine. My faith in beko machines has been tarnished but as I am only the tenant I have to use what is supplied to the property. I have had 4 appointment with the Beko Service engineer. On the Fist appointment he could not move the fridge freeze so i had to arrange another appointment. Appointment number 2 booked i asked for a 30 min phone call didn’t get was told the engineer was outside my property and would not wait. Appointment number 4 booked they advised me that they would remove the plug that was in a sealed unit and i have been advised that it is against the law to remove this type of plug i also asked for another 30 min phone call and never received it was told again that the engineer was out side the property and would not wait. I am totally disgusted as they expect me to take time off work unpaid to sort there problem out. There contractors only work between 8 -6 and they are not prepared to get an engineer out to my house for 8am. They don’t have a complaints department and there staff are not willing to help.

I have Refrigerator from 2008 as product very nice but i have problem from 2015 in the electronic part no one from beko egypt fixed yet i bought samsung one coz the dealer here very bad i send the Refrigerator to normal shop here he discover which part want repace it i called service center they answer by ugly way really i sorry the i have product from your company

i ordered 2 parts for my cooker a door seal and a oven light bulb, on 14 april 2010, after 12 days nothing, phoned to be told the light bulb comes from turkey and is not in the uk yet, but i will have the parts within a week, several phone calls back to them, and still no parts, keep getting fobbed off with excuse after excuse, its now 14 may 2010 and 1 month later still no parts, and same old answer your parts will be with you next week, crap service crap customer relations, and bad experiance all round. steer clear of this company.

I purchased a Beko Induction hob on 22nd August 2016 from Currys in Aintree, Liverpool. Due to kitchen renovation the hob was not taken out of the box nor fitted until 22nd October 2016. After reading the manual and trying the hob for the first time I noticed that the font left hand ring was not working. I called Beko to say that it was faulty when it was delivered but because I had had it over 1 month they would not exchange it but said they would send an engineer out to fix it. I also spoke to Currys and they stated that due to me having the hob for over a month, even though it hadn”t been fitted, it was not their problem but Beko”s. I contacted Beko again and they said they would send an engineer out to have a look at it. He was due to come on Tuesday 25th October, but I had a call from Beko to say that the engineer was ill and there was no one else that could cover his visits. It was rearranged for Thursday 27th October. He arrived on 27th October and said, “yes the hob is faulty and will need a new part, I will order one”. I received a call from Beko on 31st October to arrange for the engineer to come and fit the new part. 2 days later on 2 November I received another call from Beko to say that the part hadn”t arrived and will have to cancel the engineer until it arrives. In the meantime I am still with a faulty induction hob that was faulty from the time it left the manufacturer. It is now 7th November and I am still waiting for Beko to contact me with an appointment for the engineer. At no time have I had an apology regarding the fact that I was sold a faulty product. When I asked for a replacement they refused outright and said it is not their policy to replace faulty items but to send out an engineer to fix them. I am really disappointed and upset with the way that Beko and Currys for that matter have treated me. I have paid in full for product that is not working and Beko have not had the decency to try and sort this issue out quickly or with any type of explanation. I would like a replacement hob as I think I have waited long enough and also have been very patient.

I purchased a tumble drier and washing mahine 11 months ago. the tumble drier had to be replaced because it was faulty, banging and smoking when first tried to use it. Paying for special delivery was therefor a waste of time. The start button on the washing machine became faulty not long afterwards and after 2 visits from engineer was fixed, well it worked better for a while. The problem with the switch became worse so i booked another engineer and yes another unpaid day off work for this. the company stresses that it will charge for missed appointments or if no problem is detected. Yesterday the engineer was due so i rang to confim expected visit only to be told that noone was coming and unbelivably asked if i wanted to throw some more money beko’s way for an extended warranty. This would be a total waste of time. I have been sold 2 faulty products and have limped along with one for nearly a year now. This is absolutly apalling and i will persue some sort of compensation.
