Me and my friends have quiet a few human rights issues with Bell”s Corporate office. One friend”s long distance was escalated to Bell”s Corporate office. When my friend called the Corporate Office of Bell Canada, Cherry, a Corporate Office Client Service Agent, without listening any calls regarding that escalation, or reading any notes or listening to my friend”s story, she said, “You”re lying.” I am sure my friend didn”t lie, I saw their bill, heard the story from him and his wife, how Bell Canada”s long distance cheated by 1. Not giving the all info necessary on that deal 2. Over charged them by three hundred+ dollars. My friend cried, and Cherry terminated the call. These are human rights abuses by Bell Canada”s Corporate Office. He called the back, Ghani and other guys in this office even didn”t pick up the phone. Matter remained unresolved. He lost money to crook and abusive Bell Canada. We promised no business with Bell Canada. This incident took place around 2003/2004, but still we are determined not to go with Bell Canada, because we”re scared of Bell”s lies, abusive behavior, bad business and abuses of human rights and Canada Consumer”s Issues. And you like to get great customer service? Call Bell Canada”s Technical Department, full of incompetence, and below-par customer service attitude. After I stated my intention to cancel my services for the above account #, he hung up on me. This telephone conversation is, reportedly, recorded as stated at the beginning of the telephone conversation, and, as per the contract agreement, which states the only way to cancel is by calling the Bell Canada phone number and no other way and, as I performed this item properly by calling, as I was deliberately hung up on, I consider that my services have been cancelled as of May 17, 2019.

Shortly after ordering the phone I changed my mind and wanted the 11 pro max the person I was talking to said it was too late and already processed but when I receive it take it Canada post and return it to bell. I moved houses & bell technicians couldn’t get us internet for 1.5 months so they gave me free hotspot up to 50 G! I bought two sim cards from bell scarbrough by store manager itself. We did not receive any agreement from bell in paper nor electronically which me and my husband signed. I called bell customer service for cancellation and asked what will I owe if I cancel the service. The agent replied we only have to pay usage cost as there is no contract and it is under 15 days /30 minutes rule. After a week, I received bill of $254.25, which left me to shock. I called customer service and This time I spoke to Rob and requested to speak the manager, Tris because she said we have to pay early cancellation charges. Rob told me she is busy and will call me back after 2 hours but no one called from bell yet. Since then, I have sent two follow-up emails regarding the same issue but still haven’t received any response. I don’t understand, what sort of service charges bell wants from customers when they have zero customer service value. Why would we pay service charge when we didn’t receive good service from first day. If we paying service charge then we must get good service then we are obliged to pay.in this case we didn’t get any service, so we are not happy to pay for it. We have right to get what we pay for. Actually, I bought an iPhone X with mobility including insurance plan but unfortunately, I lost my phone on Oct 20, 2018, and I tried to find but didn’t get. I made a claim for requesting a replacement phone. I received an email next week after the claim in which they write to me to call on the number when I called them they said your request is denied and say No to give me a replacement phone. I am still paying for my phone insurance without having any phone. Please proceed with my complaint and take further actions for my phone otherwise I will sue the bell mobility in the court because I can’t pay free to bell without any phone. After almost 9 years with Bell-Mobility, this July I decided to terminate my cellular service. For years, I reluctantly accepted ever increasing rate plans and tolerated poor quality, of both incoming and outgoing mobility calls. Mobility devices, while important to many businesses, have become critical to some. Over the years, I’ve had many frustrated clients and colleagues comment on the poor quality of my mobile phone calls. Assuredly, I complained about it to Bell technicians for many years, but nothing ever improved even after changing phones every couple years. Anyway, I just gave up. I recently purchased a smartwatch and linked its plan to my Bell-Mobility Plan. Bell’s website at the time, clearly stated smartwatch plan could be selected ONLY if a Mobility Plan was active (or newly activated). So, in July when I terminated my cellular service, I assumed the Smartwatch Plan was also terminated, because I no longer had a Mobility Plan with Bell. Yet, Bell continued charging me for a service I could no longer utilize. I wasn’t notified nor advised that termination of the smartwatch plan must be requested. I attempted to address the issue with Bell’s contracted techs in the Philippines, August 24th. I managed to have the Smartwatch Plan terminated, but unsuccessful in having the Smartwatch Plan charges reversed retroactive to the date my Mobility account was terminated. I feel Bell took advantage of the loyalty of customers like me, who were ignorantly unaware of being gouged by previously advertised Rate Plans. I can only imagine how Bell executives scrambled upon learning TELUS was about to offer unlimited mobile plans at very competitive rates. The annual savings to my business will be substantial compared to Bell-Mobility. Moving too slowly or being reluctant to act altogether, either way, Bell is late to the price war. Only now does Bell offer essentially the same mobility rate plans as TELUS. What I would like Bell-Mobility management to understand is, I have absolutely no intention to pay anything further towards early termination charges, late charges, interest charges or plan charges for devices I could not utilize. Those charges are well covered by the funds gouged from me for the past 9 years by Bell. And I have no issue to counterclaim should Bell decide to claim breach of contract. However, I’m quite certain the outstanding charges on my mobility account wouldn’t amount to even half an hour of Bell’s corporate lawyers’ fee.

We tried many many times to get resolve through Bell but the customer service forlks in India don’t care and can’t soeak english so I gave up and went wiht a new provider. Bell Bill was much higher than original contract. Phoned in on July 17th to have bill rectified. Was transferred to a loyalty rep who satisfied the complaint and gave me a price that was acceptable. When the bill for August was received the new price plan that we discussed was not reflected on the bill. Phoned back in and there were no notes on file as if the conversation had never taken place. After spending an hour or so with the rep they said they could not change my plan and that they would have a manager listen to the recording from July 17th and call me back within 4 business hours. A manager or supervisor never called back so I called back a few days later. After explaining the situation yet again, a helpful rep said the only way to get the price lower is to do a new install. We set up a new install and the technician came. We showed the technician what the asked to see (phone line etc) and they left without saying anything (did not install or communicate at all). I messaged the bell technician and they said they were at the bell panel on the street. The after a few hours elapsed we still hadn’t seen the bell technician so I messaged again and they did not respond. The bell technician did not complete the set up and did not communicate anything as they just left the scene unannounced.

My pension comes in at the end of every month and Bell refused to wait the extra 5 days under the threat of disconnection + a further re-connect fee. Bell Canada visited my area in Trent Lakes, Ontario promoting their new and improved services. Since rural internet can be a problem we invited the salesman back to review packages and were persuaded to go with a complete switch of 3 products to achieve better, faster and more generous WHI internet. Our install date of may 27th was a nightmare when we learned internet would only be installed a month later and they had already removed our own Xplornet dish to replace it with theirs for tv reception. More horrifying was finding that the internet was essential for ALL the services to work correctly. The phone was the first fiasco when it had to be replaced with a new telephone number and ancient analog technology to even work! For a full month we were cut off from our mail, banking, work and other features that we require to function properly. We called and called but were given the run around, told to wait or just ignored. My sister even involved the police when she couldn’t reach us which was humiliating. Then on the 27th of June when everything was to come together we found they could not give is internet in our location. What a sham. Why didn’t the net go in first? Why a month long wait for an integral service to make the others function? Why sell something you can’t provide? A failed install it was termed and we were assured of no cost to return thing s to their original state. Hah! $100 plus to cancel they said! For a service they couldn’t even give us and an analog phone service that kept failing and wasn’t what we were told to expect? Shame Bell Canada, shame on you. Never again, I’d rather use two coconuts for a phone, bunny antenna ears for a tv and return to letters with snail mail than use you again. And tell your Marketing Reps. to get the facts correct first and stop saying they are going to “make a few calls” to resolve things but never call back. Bell did not cancel my services! Bell sent me a bill to pay for months, I did not use their service. I had closed my account on May 2019 with Bell and paid what I owed in full and they were to close my account. They did not do this and were billing me until now (August 8th, 2019). Bell claimed, I didn’t cancel my services. Which is just a lie! I did give them 30 days notice and switched all services to Rogers on May 16th, 2019. When I spoke to them and explained my problem, the agents hung up phone 3 times. They also told me later that they would report me to credit bureaus and collection agencies. Bell has arbitrarily changed my internet service claiming they have given me ” complimentary” increased speed, while the plan they charge me for is more expensive than the plans advertised on their website. The key issue here is unlimited data. Most of the Fibe data plans are unlimited, but my plan with “complimetary” increased speed has a data limit. After an on line chat of aproximately 2 hours, and being bounced between 4 on line reps I was able to get the plan I asked for at the onset of the chat. (chat is attached in photo section) This experience was the antithesis of customer service, of very questionable moral and ethical basis on the part of Bell, and possibly illegal advertising. I am more than disappointed with Bell, and while I have the option to change my service (which I will likely execise inthe future) I think Bell should be held to account for their practices of imposing non-competitive offers on loyal customers and then making it extreemly difficult to the issue rectified. Bell has been the worst company experience my family has ever had across all consumer product lines. They are incompetent, rude, overpriced, and the services suck to boot. The one hand does not know what the pother hand is doing or has done. The bill is always like a small mortgage payment. We are just holding our noses until we can free ourselves from this terrible contractual relationship. We have already cancelled our cable because the product is not good (literally nothing good to watch except perhaps sports and news) and it stopped working and their efforts to fix the problem always worsened the problem. Bell installed fibre on my street over a year ago. The cable to go to my neighbors is on my property. Bell offered fibre to everyone expect me. I have been trying to resolve this issue with no luck. NO one can get to the bottom of it. I must have spent over 30 hours on the phone/chat system with always the same process which leads to no results. I had to ask for a technician to come and evaluate the situation, they are charging me for it, while they offered a free fiber install to my neighbor who is further away from the cable than me. They send me a satellite specialist who can not help me. I really think they should be asked to pay people for the time wasted waiting. If I calculate my wasted time and energy talking to Bell at my salary rate, I have wasted over 30 billable hours. that is thousands of dollars. Since I am in the countryside, Bell has monopoly over communication lines and as such couldn”t care less about this issue since I can not cancel or change provider. That also should be illegal.

bell is the WORST!!! I have just spent 45min, AGAIN 3rd time in 2 months!, to resolved the harassment I am getting from bell over my CLOSED ACCOUNT! This account was closed over 2 months ago. That alone was an ordeal!! AFTER receiving my “final” invoice… invoices kept coming!! and growing! Magically a final payment due of 70$ became almost 300$!!?? I used my friends cell to call Bell and told them that someone had been trying to call another # and kept getting us. All they could do was give me an appointment for the next day at 3-5 pm. August 5, to my surprise I was charge $ 306, I only went to cross the border in 5 days and use the roaming for 5 days but to my surprise, I was the charge for 10 days even when I was in Canada already. [protected] my son”s number was charge $99 dollars for roaming. I made sure that his roaming was off when we went to the States for 4 days but he was the charge for that amount. If you charge per day of roaming it is only 7 dollars per day. My question is my son only use the data for 3 mins and I am the charge of $99 for it. I have been following this up trying to resolve the issue but it seems that it is not happening. I have been with bell for 2 months and it so disappointing. I have been with Fido for 6 years and I do not have any problem like this crossing the border and be charged for the things we did not use. I will pay for the services that I used but will not pay for something I did not. Customer ID 10512432ZZZ909 Ongoing billing issues and harassment since June 2018 June 2018 I cancelled my home services and two of my cell phones with Bell. Since then, I have received multiple phone calls, bills and more phone calls, while at work! regarding an outstanding bill. Cancellation fees. I was very upset my calm with the individuals who said I was required to pay this fee, since I hadn”t been receiving the services; there were always internet problems. Two days I had no internet at all, when I called to have this rectified, they said it was a something wrong with the server, therefore was sending a new one. We continued to have no internet so I called again to be informed it was an issue with something on “their” end which was fixed in seconds. Two days with no internet, two teenagers in exams and a spouse with his own business is stressful. I called again and wanted all my services cancelled. Three phone calls I had to make to the customer service dept to correct the billing issues. My husband took one phone call and paid once again! I was very upset++++ I called yet again to clarify why we were paying a cancellation fee once again. Now today Dec 19th, I received yet another bill for $2.54. I have never been to collections for anything in the past. I have always paid all my bills. I have been a Bell customer since I was 18 with my spouse, never, ever in my life had I felt so harassed, embarrassed and frustrated with a company and their services. I have two cell phones for my children with Bell and will be ex tactic when the contract is up. I truly cannot express the how frustrated I am and saddened by my experience.

Dear team, My Order Number is R27L43R6. I placed an order for Home Internet on 4th of September 2018. I was concerned that my drivers license number was requested so I chose not to complete the order. I called the customer service again later same day and was told the Drivers license or credit card number was just a perfunctory check and nothing to worry about, I got assurance and assumed this was a soft check that would not impact my credit scores or show on my records. I gave my drivers license number and completed the order. I am highly displeased and perturbed that a hard check was carried out by Bell Canada on my credit record on the 5th of September without explicitly stating this. I have called several times to request this be cancelled and removed from my record, to no avail. I am left with no other choice than to take this up legally. Regards

I just discovered messages from Bell re $5.00 fee being taken off each month. So if I paid $100 for 1 yr and they take off $60 for year that leaves me getting $40 of service. Explanation was phone was meant to be used and they give 10 minutes free per mo when you use the phone for the $5.00 fee. Again, the phone is not used. It is for emergency only. If you buy a prepaid card at a store with so many minutes you get full value. I don’t agree with Bell’s policy of charging you even when the phone has not been used.

Every month your billings CLIMB and the service fades. I do not use long distance nor do I abuse your crummy system. But regular as clockwork, my bill keeps going UP! I pay on time on line so as to avoid screaming at your reps. My bill has climbed $10 a month in the last year and have not been advised as to why it is occurring. The quality of your less than esteemed corporation leaves MUCH to be desired. You are running a monopoly and are screwing your customers with the cooperation of the CRTC and we have no say in this matter. Good evening, We set up a “contract” with bell on May 28, 2018 for transfering our services to our new home (as we were with Bell for approx 4 yrs prior on this home and almost 10 yrs on our other home). We were advised of our rate not changing for a guaranteed 2 years. During the past year our bill kept increasing as we had to call in and wait on the phone for over an hour to find out why. We were repeatedly told that the rates will change throughtout the contract and they would remove discounts. We asked how is this possible with a contract guarantee the price. When we moved we had to down grade our bell services from Fibe to a lesser bell service and asked to pay more. After contacting Bell numerous times to fix our bill, which was never brought to the original agreement price, we decided to cancel our services with bell and were advised we would be charged $75 for a termination fee as per our “contract”. I asked how can we be charged for this and never have it disclosed and that Bell never honoured the agreement on the services we had. This became an argument with the call centre and even requested this go to a manager instead of reading a script to me. All calls should be recorded with Bell to state how many times we had to call to question why are services were going up when there is “contract” in place stating a guaranteed price for 2 years of our services. I’m requesting to have this $75 fee reversed due to the issues of not being guaranteed the pricing that was sold to us. If we had a contract guaranteeing pricing and Bell never honoured then we should not be charged the $75 to cancel when Bell doesn’t honour the contract. We’ve been with Bell for over 5 years and this completely unacceptable. I would like to receive an email or call back regarding this matter. Hello, I am reaching out to you as I could not find any contact information other than by phone. So I guess my first question is do you have any customer service e-mail correspondence available? My second question or rather complaint for lack of a better word is the Crave App has different information than when I go to Crave on my TV. The issue is that the show Grimm shows (under details) that the show is available until Feb 17, 2036 and on the Crave App it shows it’s available only until August 31, 2018. Although it’s extremely frustrating when you decide to binge a show and now can’t get anywhere near finishing, I’m really contacting Bell to let them know to have the TV info correct as that will help decide what to watch.

I believe BELL is punishing me . I called the technical service and It did not work at all. It is disappointing. Hello. My name is Simon Tusek Our entire family is now with Bell and we recently made big purchases and plan changes through Bell for the dual sim feature (esim feature). These were purchased with the full intention of using them in other countries, which my wife and I are in right now until April, only to find out that this feature on the phone would not be available. This would have been valuable to know when making these new purchases, as this purchase was not required as the iPhone 6 and 7 we had worked just fine. My son is the account holder. Scott informed me after his call to Bell on January 31st that there is no recourse. The purchases are non refundable, the plans are not reversible, the feature does not work, and the out for Bell was a little disclaimer to be found online that states esim will be for new customers only. This is a disgusting business practice to sell equipment without being upfront about features that do not work, as this was the major question asked when purchasing the phones, and doing nothing for customers who find out there equipment will not work as per the advertised features. We are now stuck in a more expensive plan with more expensive phones that don’t do what we bought them for. The resolution being sought is for the feature to be immediately activated. Second choice is to return to our original plans and return the phones, so we can decide on a course of action in the future if/when this feature becomes available. Third choice is a proposal from Bell to come to a resolution. This is a final effort on our part to retain our loyalty. Hey, i went into one of bell store located in pinecentre mall, prince george, bc. When i was there earlier today to switch my accounts from fido to bell i was served by this really nice lady who explained about the deals that bell has going on right under which i was gonna get about 200$ off of a brand new note 9 when going on a 2 year plan which will be 90$ plus taxes a month with 2gb data. I told her that let me think about it and ill come back later and buy the phone. So she ported my phone number from fido to bell. I come back a few hours later and that lady was gone but there was this new girl “kat” really rude like she had no interest in selling me the phone. And she “kat” told me that now im not able to upgrade my phone for another 3 months since its already activated. While i brought my phone and all that lady from earlier morning did was sell me the sim card itself. Now im stuck coz i paid 30$ activation fee which wont be refunded most likely and she “kat” very rudely said that i could go ahead and dump that sim and get a new sim and pay for the activation fee all over again and plus i wont be given my old number again coz it has to be a new one… well all in all i cannot appreciate that service at all. Hi a couple months ago I emailed in giving a raving review about this employee. Since then I have received phone bills in the 250-350$ price range when I signed a contract for $180. After calling bell customer service I was informed that I had no data on my plan. When I signed my contract this employee LIED to me and told me I had 3GB of data. This is why my phone bill has been so high. This employee should be FIRED for luring to customers. I am now locked into a contract with NO data even though I was told when signing I had 3GB PER MONTH.

Hi Last August 2018, we upgrade our phone to iphone 8, both iphone 8, Bell charge us $700 plus. I call them about the plan coz according to the guy we will only pay $400.00 including our early upgrade. When the billing came on my email I was charged of $700.00 plus, I call them and they sorry for the wrong billing. They charged me $503 which I pay the full amount. Another billing come just today and they charge me for $283.00 . My regular bill supposed to be $195.00, we did’nt do outside Canada call or any international call which we know we will get extra charge for that. I call representative and there’s another mistake on the billing. Bell illegally charges us for we don’t know. They should be aware on this or else thay will lose many customers for unreasonable charges.

Hi my name is Natasha Palmer and on Aug 8, 2019 one of your Bell Technicians came to my home to install my cable, phone and internet. Upon him installing my cable box he was left alone in my master bedroom and he helped himself to my wedding ring. It was placed in my top drawer in the corner before he arrived after he left it was gone. I’ve been in touch with second tier and they were going to look into it. It has been over three weeks and I spoke to some one only once and no one is contacting me back. I called a few days ago and one of your reps let me know that they closed the ticket. That got me quite upset as I still haven’t found my ring nor have they contacted me back. I have a police report going on and at this point I’m demanding that some one contact me back and let me know what’s going on. Hi We have recently moved from NL to Ab and had to disconnect our bellaliant account on Oct 16. Upon doing so found out I no longer have access to my bellaliant.net email. I can no longer receive/sent email. We have been with bell for the last 9 years. I have called and talked to the bell agents. The only thing they could do for me is give me 24 hour access to my account. I can not even put a 1 month forwarding on to the bellalaint.net account to another email account. I was willing to pay a monthly fee or even reinstate my services even though I don’t live there. This is not fair, how can you just lock an email account with no other options of receiving a email. I am Bell custommer I have ALL their service my house is Bell. Tele Fibe Internet high speed unimited and mobility (prepaid). Its been 3 months that im trying to transfer my pre paid to a normal monthly bundle and they refuse because I dont have a drivers license. I am a blind person so obviously I dont have a drivers license! Called custommer service talked with about 8 different representative that send me to a department to another one (3 hours on the phone). They told me that I would receive a call back from a senior representative but it never hapened. They asked me to go to a bell store for authentification so I did with my white cane in the snow. At the store they told me to go back home call again the sales department who tell me again to go to the store (I didn t this time) Called again and again they again promiss that I would receive a call back from a senior representative. nothing again. I spend almost 200 $ a month with them my bills are up to date and my pre paid always have 2 months ahead for the next payments. and they dont even have the decency to friggin call me back! I am NOT important for them! And they ask me to travel to the store and everytime that I go outside in Montreal with my white cane it can be dangerous! Even one of the representative told me that even if I would be millionaire I wouldnt get the bundle because I dont have a drivers license or a passport! This is discriminatory. Im blind! I dont drive and I wont go hiking on the Himalaya for christ sake! I think they dont deserve my business. I mean you give them a LOT of money every year and they cant even call you back ever? I am having trouble adding the youtube app to my upstairs TV. The downstairs TV has the main router. The first woman on the phone was often difficult to understand (her accent was very heavy), and I am hearing-impaired. As I tried to ask what I thought were coherent questions, she became progressively more annoyed at me. Her tone was very off-putting, and I told her so. I had to hang up. The second woman I spoke with was less confrontational, but she was unable to answer my query. I told her the original installer placed some apps on my TV, but not the youtube app, which I managed to add to the downstairs TV with little difficulty. This woman kept suggesting that it could only be possible if your unit was a “Smart” TV or “Apple” TV. I told her that neither of my units were of these types. She seemed unconvinced. I don’t know who to call next. This kind of customer service is shockingly bad. I am very disappointed in today’s service.

I am in France now and trying to get my email as i usually do when log in with my wifi at my apartment in France. No way to get e mails for many days now. I tried your on line services and the issue was beyond their ability. So they file a request to the tech dept. I was called later on today to tell me that Bell new protocol is NOT to allow bell.net access when abroad except when roaming and on web mail. I tried roaming for emergency reason but i do not like to use roaming because it is expensive and i have my private and secure internet connection at home in France. I have been using bell.net to access my emails for 7 years at least so why the sudden change? Also, i am very disappointed to find out after three sessions of chating on MyBell and many time wasted to find out this. Bell never announced this to me to inform me and now i will be 3 weeks abroad without accessing my emails. Very disappointed and angry with this situation. I am livid about the lack of compassion and understanding with bell. We have been a customer for over 20 years And the constant price increases is awful. My mother is a senior and her phone bill with all services almost 300 ridiculous and wrong . Her bill hiked to over $800 in 3 months and when asking for a payment plan they basically refused and said she needed to pay off bill in 2 payments within 2 weeks how is this possible on a old age pension. I am very frustrated with Bell who contacted my cell phone line after my device was stolen over a year ago now. The person who answered the phone was not authorized to have a new device mailed. Bell however shipped a new device to a different address without my authorization. After having spoke with numerous agents who all confirmed the mistake was rectified and i would be able to upgrade my device at anytime without penalty, I was denied an upgrade today. I have been a loyal client for a very long time and now I want nothing to do with this company. I never received the device that was sent without authorization. I had actually inquired myself at the same time with Bell about upgrading a decide but the only option was an iPhone which I declined and instead purchased my own device. I have been using this Samsung device ever since.

I bought a phone on kijiji 16 months ago and put in my bell sim and all has been fine. Then i was tired of Bell and its issues so i switched providers. After purchasing my new sim i find out this cell is locked to Bell and a male account holder who has a high outstanding bill. Now myself being female and a Bell customer over 10 years on a month to month account called Bell and a woman named Manila said it cant be unlocked until the males account is paid in full????? Why is it my responsibility to pay that???? It has been 16 months and i refuse to pay someone elses bill.
