Bell Towers Apartments

My son lives here and, as someone who grew up in commercial property management, I managed a 380 unit complex in Minneapolis and I have NEVER experienced such absolutely heartless and RUDE staff in my life.MOST complexes have a “grace period” in the lease of a couple days before they count rent late because, with holidays especially, people are often paid a day later than normal, or if payday falls on a weekend, etc.THIS complex has NO “grace period” and charges $ 51 per day. My son had just moved in and was NOT told there was a drop box in the BACK of the leasing office – not even in a visible place. He went down to find one and couldn’t. So he tried pushing it under the door, that didn’t work.Finally, he took it down 2 MINUTES after they opened and they HEARTLESSLY and RUDELY treated him as if he was 60 DAYS late and charged him the $ 51.The staff needs to realize if it was not for the TENANTS – THEY would NOT have a job and start treating the tenants with RESPECT. Perhaps I need to go and serve them a main course of ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT with a side dish of COMPASSION & UNDERSTANDING and KARMA for dessert.This is my son’s first time on his own and NOT a good experience. However, I am going to be writing to the state. I feel that their business practices are very unfair.BEWARE !!
