I purchased my 2004 Mazda6 in January 2004. I was worked over from the minute is stepped inside. The car dealer I worked with tried to get me into every vehicle on the lot. He recognized I didn’t have a clue, and took full advantage. When we talked about the “numbers” I always felt I was getting a raw deal. I ended up trading in a 1999 Honda Civic with low miles, and in perfect condition. Berge paid off my remaining loan amount on that vehicle, and financed me for the Mazda6. I was told when I signed for the vehicle, what a great deal I got. The sales manager claimed he “ate” the price, and was pratically giving the car away. What a joke! I pay over $400 a month, and am already upside down. I paid well over $5000 what the car was worth. I had to go back and resign my contract over 4 times. Berge claimed the correct information wasn’t entered. How ridiculous! I wish now that I would have walked away, or backed out. Ever since I got my vehicle, I have had problems with the power windows, and rusting on my vehicle. Each time I take my vehicle in to be serviced, no one knows my name. I will make an appointment, and when I show up at my correct time, no one can ever find my inofrmation on file. What customer service! I am not treated like a priority. Do they forget how much they rip their customers off? In August, I took my car in to be serviced before I moved out of state. I wanted Berge to look at my window which was having problems, and I needed an oil change. I waited over 8 hours for my car to be done. I called 4 times to find out if my car was ready. Finally at 5 pm, I was notified my vehicle was ready for pickup. I picked my car up, and my window hadn’t even been looked at. What did they do for 8+ hours? Good question! Now the price has gone up to $50 for an oil change. For what? My whole experience with this company has been horrible. There is no customer loyalty, or customer service for that matter. Now, I am stuck with a car I am upside down on, paying too much a month for, and a bad taste in my mouth. I would definitely tell anyone out there thinking of buying a car from this dealership to think again. It was the biggest mistake I have ever made, and believe me, I am sure paying big for it!!!
