Big 5 has entered into the “”I forgot to change the price retailers””. I went to Big 5 for a pair of sporting shoes that were on sale and the cashier charged twice the sale price. Upon letting her know that of the error, she finally agreed to honor the sale price. i told her that I should get some kind of break for almost paying the computer price and she said “”they probably forgot to enter the correct price in the computer””. After talking to the manager, she said take the shoes or leave them. I paid for the shoes and called the corporate office and they said the same thing “”somebody didn’t change the price on the computer”” and no breaks. I cannot imagine how many other consumers are getting scammed by this scamming company. After the conversation with the Corporate office, I took the shoes back. So long Big 5, Watch out America, you may be the next “”Whoops, somebody forgot to change the price”” scammed customer. .
