Traveling around the country I purchased two needed front tires for my vehicle from Big O Tire, which carried the same brand as the rears. Upon completion, I was asked if I would be interested in a Road Hazard Warranty for additional $19.99 each tire. I asked what it covered? This is from the front page of the statement on the Bill: Road Hazard Warranty 3-year free repair or replacement warranty for road hazards and manufactures workmanship & materials plus mount and balance and new road hazard warranty. How could I go wrong, for $40 I would have protection against anything “right”. EXCEPT If you drive on that road hazard that you encounter say get to a safe place off the road, all bets are off according to Big O Tire. They claim they verbally tell you at the billing review. I did not hear that part. I had the tire replaced in Lincoln NE by T.O. Hass, they commented they would have replaced it under there policy. I have been in business and if you have a happy customer they tell 10 people of there experience, If bad experience you tell 20 people. Ripoff Scams tells hundreds of thousands. Corporate consider changing your policy.
