Fact: Lopez has sold many people expired oil leases and interest in oil leases. Lopez is now under investigation by the Montague County Sheriffs Office. Before investing, purchasing, or representing ask to see actual leases. Fact: Lopez convinced a lawyer in Montague County to take interest in an expired lease in trade for more than $10,000 in legal fees. The lawyer later learned the lease was expired and he had lost all of his fees. Fact: Lopez P5 operator’s license has been revoked per the Texas Railroad Commission (TRRC) and he is NOT able to operate any wells in Texas at this time. Contact the TRRC for further information. At this time ALL of the leases Lopez claims to own are expired, abandoned, revoked, or severed at this time. This is all a matter of public record with the TRRC and is available to parties in need.
