Booked cabin at $1296 for 2/13-16 to celebrate parents 35 anniversary. 2/10 canceled with Stacie Linka who said full credit would be applied. Instead of celebrating parents anniversary our mother was hospitalized, taken off life support, then sent home for hospice care before dying 3 days later. We called Stacie 2/10 to cancel our reservation since our mother was dying. She cancelled it and told us a full refund would be applied by the end of the week and we’d see reversed on our statement within 30 days. She told us very nicely and compassionately to be with our family and not worry about it. The credit never came so we had the CC company reverse the Charges. Stacie disputed the reversal claiming enforcement of the contract. I’ve tried communicating directly with her. and she refuses to budge and says she doesn’t recall the phone conversation. Tried jogging her memory about crying on the phone and telling her our mother was dying but she claims to have no recollection and says she would never have agreed to credit it. She won’t take our phones or respond to our emails. .
