I purchases a 1997 plymoth neon brand new from bigelow motors in belleville. the paint on my roof just started chipping, and they said, since it’s past 50,000 miles, there’s nothing they can do. what does miles have to do with paint? anyway..they refuse to fix this problem. there was a defect in the primer they used on the 1997 neons is what i was told. i seen many cars that have the same problem. when i told the dealership this, they said,”they never heard of such a thing, and it’s not there fault I didn’t get my car wax weekly. They we such jerks, and it’s there fault for selling defects to the public.And it seems they are getting away with it.And it is not fair to us. I even called the owner and he told me his hands are tied in this and it’s upto the chrysler coporation.
