my husband had an engin replaced by bill’s auto service center in westland mi. it’s been since april 27, 1999 to present the engin that was installed has not worked right since we got the truck back from them. which was in june,i put a stop payment on the check that i wrote for the engin, we informed them of the engin not running properly and was told that they would get to it when they had the time. we also told them that we had put a stop payment on the check. Two weeks later they pick the truck up and said they where going to press charges on me for putting a stop payment on the check. i told them to go right ahead and do what they had to do and that i would also do what we had to do to get this fixed properly for the amount of money they are charging, well we talked with bill himself and he said it would be fixed, we then said that we would pay him CASH when it was done. we received a phone call saying it was fixed so i went to the bank and got the cash out and paid them. my husband drove the truck from the repair shop home and tuffy muffler across the street from bills auto. the engin and all the fluids was $2670.00. well the truck went back to bills auto because they NEVER tightend the lifters and was ready to drop one. but the truck still didnt run right we had to have the transmission rebuilt beause of the motor and still cannot get the engin to run without this vibration that is in it. you can not drive the truck even after having the trans rebuilt. we called a nother engin shop and was told that we could not drive the truck because we would have to have the trans rebuilt again. we dont have a $1000.00 to have the trans rebuilt again and bills auto service will NOT talk with us about this problem with the engin. SO BILL’S AUTO SERVICE CENTER IN WESTLAND MICHIGAN RIPPED US OFF NOT ONLY FOR AN ENGIN BUT A TRANSMISSION ALSO COSTING US $3,670.00 + having to go and buy a new truck for my husband!
