I found this company online when searching for a legal paternity test. They claim that you can send your legal dna test kit to anyone you want to that is unrelated and has nothing to gain from your test result. They advertise that you can use your doctor, lawyer, a notary, or “any third party not related to you who does not have an interest in the outcome”. | I brought the information to my attorney and asked him to be my witness and he explained that a test of this type DOES not meet the chain of custody requirements to be acceptable in court. Reason number one, you pay your lawyer. Legally he could be considered to have a monearty gain/loss from the result. Second, your neighbor or anyone else that you pick could also be portrayed in court as having some vested interest in the result. | Please be aware that this is false advertizing and although the price may be alluring, the result is useless. | Go ahead and pay a little more for the real thing somewhere else and do it right the first time. This place is not even AABB accredited.
