If you want to use a Brand name drug where a generic exists they will charge you the 100$ copay plus the difference in the cost of the drug. In my case that went to 600$. Insurance companies don’t provide consumers with enough tools to interrogate their formulary (list of drugs they will provide without an appeal) and how you will be charged. How can consumers pick a health plan based upon facts when their are none. Everything is in the fine print etc… So buyer beware there is a catch in Blue Cross of Idahos best plans!!!!
