Blue Ribbon Home Warranty will not cover my air conditioner despite eight calls. Rather, they cancelled the contract and refunded only a prorated portion. Blue Ribbon Home Warranty essentially will take your money for the warranty, but if you have a problem, they won’t cover it. Instead, they will refund part of it back to get out of the cost of coverage. If you have a problem with Blue Ribbon, you may submit your claim to stopfraudcolorado.gov/about-consumer-protection/complaint-forms/consumer-complaint-form You may also seek civil damages under Colorado Law up to the covered amount of the item to be repaired. This complaint is an attempt to protect consumers from being defrauded by Blue Ribbon Home Warranty, Realtors who suggest you “need” it, Loan brokers who “require” it, etc. It is a scam in my opinion and I have filed a complaint with the State Attorney General of Colorado and will be filing a Civil Suit pursuant to Colorado Law.
