If I could give 0 stars I would. I cannot believe the service department at BMW of Arlington. I took my second car there in six months, against the advice of my wife (given our prior experience) but I thought, who could screw up an oil change? They can. And they did. And are now asking me to pay for their problem. OH NO. I made an appointment for an oil change, this morning, while my car was there they called and told me my inspection would be up soon, and would I like for them to go ahead and run the inspection? They tell my window tint doesn’t let enough light in….um..this is the tint from the dealer guys…why – what – HUH? Further they quoted me $95 for an oil change and charged me $178.93 – this includes 9 quarts of synthetic oil (whose CAR takes 9 quarts of oil????) At absolute worst it should only take 8 and that includes the reserve! So the inspection didn’t happen because I’m not about to allow these “techs” to even touch the tint on my car. They wouldn’t release my car if I didn’t pay for the inspection, so they forced me to pay for something they didn’t even hook up to the machine (I can tell by looking at the invoice) and as I started my car, the SERVICE ENGINE light came on. What have they done to my car??? It is now at a different shop – the same one I took the other BMW to after they jacked it up as well. BUYER BEWARE – DO NOT use the service department at this location – you will be lied to, hoodwinked and lucky to have a drivable car after they’ve touched it. UNREAL.
