Bob Gabel also known as bob0g0bob on E-Bay was selling his 2003 Honda VTX 1300 Retro. Bob had it listed as a 2007. The day after my bid he cancelled it and said to contact him, which I did. Bob offered me the bike for $3200, about half of what is was worth. I said no thanks and a few days later he e-mails be again and said $2200 shipped to your door. Bob said to use a escrow company called bt-motors.com and to wire the money and he would ship the bike. I wired the $2200 as per the escrow company’s instructions to a Elvin Abreu at a Washington Mutual address of 103 e 25 st/ New York, NY 10035. Since then this account has been closed and Elvin has no idea who Bob Gabel is or anything about a 2003 Honda VTX 1300 Retro. Bob won’t answer his e-mails nor will the escrow company, go figure. The shipping company Bob was shipping the bike with has been out of business for a couple of years, now I learn, and E-Bay sends me a e-mail saying this is a fraud and dont bid on this item. That comes 12 days after all this happen. E-Bay won’t get involved because it happen outside their auction.
