Books-A-Million

They always persist at selling you a d**n magazine subscription! I recently purchased a book and my girlfriend had shown an interest in the free magazines, so the employee took her information, but here’s what they ultimately did. My girlfriend received the product and noitifications and I received the bill…we both live in separate locations, with our families to be exact. So yeah, after I’ve already canceled my bank card I realise what’s happened so then I try to call and cancel the subscription and after 10 minutes of listening to an automated female and after pressing zero repeatedly I finally get through to an actual person whose only response is “I’m sorry sir your phone is cracking, I can cannot hear you” so even and after turning the volume on my house phone down, still the same response. So yes I hung up the phone. Maybe Books-A-Million should just stick with selling the books and magazines on their shelves instead of real life telemarketing. They’re lying when they ask “would you like to receive free magazines?”, “you can cancel after the trial period”, “it’s easy to cancel just call this number here at the bottom”. I’ll be sure to purchase any future books from B***** and N*****
