Went to see Adam the owner who was surprisingly recommended by a friend. Gave me an estimate for approx. $567 for rear brakes. Said I needed pads, new rear rotor and calipers. Even though I am a female, I know enough to know that sounded pretty d**n well out of line. Called other places and heard from more than one that they have never had to replace calipers on a Ford with less than 150K miles. One even said I doubt the calipers need to be replaced. Took it to Firestone, surprise! – no caliper needed to be replaced. Did not need new rotor. Total cost of repair was $358 BUT that included an oil change and tire rotation and balance!!!
