I purchased 10 pieces of hair from BRAZIL HAIR EXPORTER (brazilhairexporter.com), 8 bundles of hair and 2 closure hair pieces. The company seemed to have tended to me in a decent time frame due to language difference answering all of my questions. The company sent me a tracking number of the shipment within the same day I ordered my products. I paid later due to my schedule, which they were trusting in me sending payment as soon as I could (less than 8 hours of shipment). But after they received my payment(Thursday morning, ordered hair Wednesday evening) the shipping company(EMS BRAZIL) they used suddenly emailed me asking for a $250 insurance payment, in return I would receive 90% of my money back($225). I was in complete dismay, because I paid the hair company shipping fees that I felt covered everything($45) under the understanding they know the specifications. I contacted the hair company and they basically said it is out of their hands, because they did not know the shipping company needed insurance and I just need to pay. I paid this hair company $45 in shipping and trusted them to ship my hair. I contacted the shipping company stating my concern in paying so much and was told that they will need the money or it will not be released. I was also told that it was a necessary fee or my products will be lost (package in Mexico City, Mexico). I contacted the hair company again and I was told that next time I order hair, they will use another shipping company like DHL…NEXT TIME??!! I have contacted both companies and heard from the “CEO” Eduardo(from the hair company) who stated he would investigate but it has now been 3 weeks no hair and no money. I asked the hair company for my money back and was told ‘because I did not want to pay insurance I could not receive a refund from the hair company’ from Almeria(do not know her job description). So I could not receive a refund because I chose not to pay a shipping company (I did not choose) to send my hair??? I continuously email them and still have not received a response or solution from the hair company nor the shipping company. Very unprofessional and this company lacks customer care. Currently (4/23 which I ordered 4/1), I sent another email to both hair company and shipping company and suprisingly received a response from both. The shipping company told me that I could have my hair shipped if someone from the hair company paid in cash as soon as possible (basically letting me know it was the hair company’s responsibility to properly send a package). I sent the hair company the email as well as asking for a solution. Almeria told me they can get the hair, but I would have to pay for all the changes. I simply sent her the email from the shipping company and have yet to hear a response from Almeria, Eduardo, or anyone from BRAZIL HAIR EXPORTER. Unfortunately, I used my savings to not just purchase hair, but test it to resell and start up my business. I hope I have not lost out on my money well earned and can find a trusting manufacturer. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, BRAZIL HAIR EXPORTER, BUYERS BEWARE!! .
