I regret hiring Brian T. Stoner, CPA. I could not have imagined they would offer me such poor services. Looks can be deceiving.
I started a commercial cleaning company in Burbank. I have been serving clients day in day out, and due to the high quality services I offer, I managed to secure a few long term clients. The road has not been easy, but my business was able to overcome the break-even period in less than two months. Like any other business, we were supposed to remit the tax to the authorities. This was a strenuous exercise as the tax preparation process is difficult to carry out. My accountants did not have much knowledge on how to go about it, and I had to outsource an expert. Getting someone to help me with the tax compliance was not an easy task as I did not have anyone to seek referrals from. Being left with no other option, I started looking for business consultants online. This is how I came to learn about Brian T. Stoner, CPA.
From the information online, this business unit focused on providing accounting and tax services to business units in California. The business had a physical office in Burbank. From their website, the company claimed to strive hard to offer their customers with excellent services. I tried to look for reviews, but their none available. As the company had been around for more than five years, I assumed they would offer me excellent tax services. This was not the case.
I called to book an appointment which they scheduled immediately. Their customer support seemed to be perfect, and there was no way they were going to disappoint me. I arrived early for my appointment to familiarize myself with the place. Their physical premises were crowded and there and poorly organized. The whole team was busy on their personal computers, assisting clients in the best way possible. There was a queue to see the manager, and I was forced to wait for more than 30 minutes. When my turn came, I explained everything to the firm’s manager, and he assured me they would help me out as soon as possible. He requested me to make a down payment before they could start working on my case. I obliged and paid half the amount we agreed, and I was to be served on the following week.
In the next week, Brian T. Stoner, CPA did not communicate, and neither did they send someone as promised. This was disappointing. I called the manager to inquire why he did not honor his would, and he informed me that he forgot to schedule someone to handle my need. I was worried as the tax period was around the corner. He was out of the office and promised to allocate someone when he returned. It took them another whole week before someone was sent. The guy was young, and he went ahead to prepare a tax report. It took him four days. After we remitted our taxes, the authority claimed we had done it all wrong and had to repeat the whole process. This was very disappointing as I had to hire someone else.
