1. I am a size 28 or size 0- because the staff were too lazy to check their stock; tried to sell me a size 36- they said they’d alter it to fit me? How? 2. Chose the dress and asked them to keep it aside so I could have a few days to think. I went to the shop for the final decision only to wait for an hour for them to find the dress they had supposedly kept aside. 3. Returned to the store to find bride’s maid dresses- was ignored by floor staff and eventually went into the ‘staff only’ dress area to find dresses. Staff argued with us. 4. Went to the Boksburg store to be told a bride’ maid dress we had chosen was on sale from R1700 marked down to R650 and that the sale applied to all stores- we checked with management. 5. Went to buy the brides maid dress only to be told it wasn’t on sale- they gave a 5% discount that was calculated inaccurately. 6. Made the EFT for the wedding dress a month ago and expected to receive an invoice- as promised. I never received the invoice and only got response after threatening legal action. 7. Made the decision that the store did not need the business and asked my money back 8. No money has been deposited 9. 20 days until my wedding, no dress.
