Brock Built

Brockbuilt refuses to Return a phone call. They have chosen to just ignore me. I have emailed and called everyday for over week requesting a call from a knowledgable associate. I bought a house from Brockbuilt in January of 2010. In Late september of 2010 I got charged with a 2008 Past Due Tax Bill from Fulton county / City of Atlanta. The first time I contacted Brockbuilt on this matter it took them over a week to call me back. This was the 1st week of October. At that time I was told that this was an error on the part of the county/city and that Brockbuilt had their attorneys working on it. A month goes by and I call & email the person I was told to call if I had any additonal questions. NO RESPONSE. I call & email again the next day. NO RESPONSE. I call and email again the following day. NO REPSONSE. This scenario continues for 6 days. It wasn’t until I stated that I was showing up at their office the next day that someone (not the knowledble one) finally responded with an email (NOT A PHONE CALL) and all they are willing to say is “the attorneys are working on it”. My mortgage company has paid the bill (so that the house wouldn’t get a lien put on it) and I am out almost $4000. I have asked to be reimbursed for the 2008 TAX Bill, that BROCKBUILT is clearly responsible for – And they REFUSE. Oh – but they will only tell me this in an email. I cannot get anyone from the company to call me with details on the case/complaint with the county. I have no proof that they are actually pursuing this with the county. So NOT only is Brockbuilt denying any repsonsibility for a TAX BILL that is clearly theirs (and not disclosed at closing) but they also refuse to communicate any details on their dispute with the county. Which to me..means there is something unscrupulious going on there too. Before buying into a BROCKBUILT community you had better beware. ONCE you purchase your house from them you are on your own. You better hope nothing happens that you need their assistance on – because you won’t get it.
