I attended Bryman College in 2003 in their Medical Assisting program. I was promised an Externship with a Doctor who would hire me if I did a good job. | I graduated with Honors, with a 4.0 GPA, as well as received many awards throughout the 9 months I attended. The Doctor in my Externship was very satisfied with my performance, and assistance, however, at the end of my Externship he announced to me that although he thought I was an excellent Assistant, he simply was not hiring anyone, and even admitted to me that he just wanted to take advantage of the free help. I was devastated, and it discouraged me from seeking employment as a Medical Assistant anywhere else. | I was promised at time of enrollment to receive placement assistance, never received any assistance whatsoever. I was told that the school was an accredited college and could apply these credits to further my education and career. All not true… | I found out years later while attending Ventura Community College, that I could not transfer or use any of my credits from Bryman towards their Nursing Program, because Bryman was not an accreditated college. | Many others have had the same experience, and found themselves to be victims of Bryman Colleges empty promises. We all want something to be done about it. Most of us are now in debt with student loans, and nothing to show for it. | I read that Brymans false advertising, and its deceitful practices were finally discovered, and many of their students have been able to have some or all of their student loans forgiven. However, it only applies to students who attended this college after 2010 or something. Why are all of us not able to have the same forgiveness? This school was scamming its students long before that year, and maybe the whole time they were in business. | Someone needs to do something about this, and assist all of the victims. | I came from the school of hard-knocks, and thought if I worked hard at something, I could better my life and my future. | Little did I know, the school that promised to help me to that, was no different. | I did my part, I learned that I could succeed at whatever I put my mind to, but Bryman did not do their part. | Now, I’m asking where are they? Those people who are supposed to support and protect the consumer? | Well??????????????
