Brought our wrangler in for an auxiliary brake for towing behind our motorhome. I should have backed out as soon as they had no clue what I wanted. I scheduled my jeep in for install. Pre-paid fir most of it, and then when I cam back for them to install a final piece on my motorhome, they stated that since they had never done one, it took them longer than expected and I had to pay for extra labor. What?? Since I couldn’t have the job completed without the extra $500 in labor, I went ahead and paid it. This was on saturday. When I brought my motorhome in on monday for a final hookup, the system didn’t work. Ended up spending the night on a nearby parking lot. Tuesday came… They couldn’t get it to work. Spent the night in a nearby hotel. Wednesday came and I was told they wouldn’t spend any more time on it even though it didn’t work. The tech finally called the manufacturer of the brake and they stated that it was not compatible with the oem harness bucks had charged me a total of $255 for. So they removed the harness and wired it up using a simple four wire system with a four pin connector. Guess what… It didn”t work! So I was told there was nothing else they could do. I called the brake manufacturer and they walked me through how to finish hooking up the system and making the adjustments to the brake so I would not encounter devastating results on the highway. It took the rest of the day on wednesday for me to finish the work. I tried to get bucks to reimburse me for the harness they charged me for but couldn’t use and for the added night in a hotel we had to pay for, but they kept ignoring my calls. I finally complained with the bbb and they flat denied everything and that the jeep was road worthy when they were done and the oem harness was installed properly. Not the case! Lies, all lies! I ended up spending more on the braking system that was never completed than I would have spent at camping world of all places! Thieves and liars. Every one of them. Look at the photo. Does that look like a mopar oem towing connector harness to you?

Bucks 4x4 Reviews & Complaints
I gave Bucks a deposit on a roll top bed cover in early May and waited for it to come in. After the install, I brought the truck home and started to check the cover out more thoroughly. I noticed that the cover did not fit the bed properly. I contacted the manufacturer and found that the manufacture had not adapted the cover to fit the newer trucks properly. I was told to return it where I had purchased it. Jeff “Guido” Henslee, told me that he had done nothing wrong on his end and that he had ordered the correct part numbers so, it was not his problem. If I wanted to get a refund, I would have to get a “RMA”# from the manufacturer myself, and then he would take it back. I spent about two weeks getting that # and then called Guido with the result. He said he would have to call the “warehouse” with the RMA# and would get back with me. He stated -“that it would probably take quite a long time.” Well, a few weeks went by and I had not heard from him so I called, and he said he was still waiting to hear back from the “warehouse” and there was nothing he could but, would call me when he heard something. A few weeks later the same thing occurred: I call him and he says that he is still waiting and it could be a long time. This was 6 weeks after getting the cover installed. I called the manufacturer and asked for help, they could not believe the cover was still on my truck and that nothing had been done since he had given me the RMA# over a month ago. My contact at the manufacturer, also made some calls and finally, Guido calls me and says to bring in the truck and they would return the cover BUT, would not give me a refund until he had received his money back and again said that it could take quite a long time. Approximately at the 2 month mark, I have no resolution and no refund. At this point I am being bounced back and forth from Buck’s and the manufacturer…Guido will NOT release my money nor offer me another product in exchange. at the 3 month mark…and many calls! The manufacturer has FINALLY received the cover, and is issuing a credit. Discovering this I called Guido. He states that I must wait until he has the credit in his hand! It is now month #4, he states that he is still waiting on the credit. What kind of company makes you do your own returns and waits to give you a refund for over 4 months? Guido stated that when he does pay me my refund it will be minus the $160 of installation charges. As of 10/06/10 I still have not received a refund.
