Burton Dezendorf III is running an illegal medical marijuana SCAM in the state of Arizona. He is working out of numerous Chiropractic and Doctors offices in AZ!! Burton is running multiple scams: 1. He promises that he will get you a medical marijuana card and legalize you through filing the correct paperwork with the state. Once you pay him the fees to process the paperwork, he tells you your card is in the mail. He does not process the paperwork and keeps the $300+ fee for himself. He has done this to 15+ patients that we now know about. They have come into the doctors offices stating they have not received their medical marijuana cards while they are suffering from different illnesses and pain. 2. He is taking meetings with people from the doctors offices and getting them to invest LARGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY into what he claims to be a “LEGAL” medical marijuana grow in the state of Arizona. Burton promises he will make you a medical marijuana caretaker by filling paperwork with the state and then provide you with patients to grow medical marijuana for. He states that this is completely legal and that the marijuana not provided to the caretakers patients can be “gifted or sold” back to the dispensaries for a hefty profit. He scammed my partner and I out of a $30,000 investment and strung us along for 6 months. He continually told us the paperwork was being processed and he was growing “legal” marijuana out of a house that was far enough away from a dispensary to make it legal. He said he would be “selling or gifting” the excess marijuana on a 3-month basis to the dispensaries, with all of the legal gifting profits going back to us. After 6 months of seeing no progress, or payments we asked for our money back. Burton disappeared and we haven’t been able to get in touch with him for over a month (shocker). This guy is a total SCAM ARTIST and we are filing a civil suit and criminal charges against him. Please do not be fooled like we were.
