Owners Don Brocker and Jon Carino have been running a scam since they bought the store in 2009. They are ripping off their own employees, customers, and the government. They are literally stealing pennies! Don covers-up the register balance so that customers can not see that they are being over-charged and short-changed. He instructs his cashiers to “round-up” balances, but to not enter it in that way. It is entered or scanned as the price appears, but the cashiers will tell customers an incorrect balance to charge them more! Don then pockets the difference. He gets excited for pennies. This money is also not taxed, of course, because it is off the books. Cashiers must tell customers that the “credit card machine is down”, after scanning the card multiple times. Customers will be severely over-charged for merchandise they never purchased. When they call the store to complain and ask the charges to be refunded, they will be told that the store has no liability and they can contact their bank. The owners also neglect to report sales and inventory. Why? Because they again evade taxes. They frequently sell alcohol and cigarettes to minors. They have sometimes just given it away to minors. The store is infested with mice and cockroaches. So what kind of people do this? The kind of criminals who also frequently assualt their customers and even employees. Don Brocker is an out-of-control monster. He has thrown mentally ill customers into the metal door and wall for trying to take a cheap lighter. He also illegally fired a female employee who stood up for herself and asked to not be sexually harrassed by him anymore. They need to be shut down. .
