Being an employee it is hard struggling alone abroad, I have been recently transferred to Miami along with my German shepherd. I have been petting him since I was 10 and he is really very close to me. He has been always available to accompany me wherever I travel. In short, I am very fond of him. Along with my transfer to Miami, I have been given loads of work to complete and had to work overnight at times. I couldn’t give much time and also had problems with his feeding time as most of the times I had to work late at night. One of my colleagues recommended me to admit my pet to a dog care center. After a lot of research both online and offline, I decided to get him registered to the Canine Counselors. They seemed the best in town because of such attractive looks and hygienic environment. I made an appointment with the vet for the upcoming day. I went to the place and it really seemed fine to me, therefore I enquired about the appointment I undertook last evening. I waited for a few minutes when the receptionist informed me that no such appointments were made. I asked her for reconsiderations to which she totally refused. I requested her to go talk to the manager so that it could make some difference. I was kept waiting for an hour when the receptionist came back and apologized to me regarding the error they made. She told that it the alternative receptionist that was in charge last evening. I let the matter go because it was not that serious. I finally admitted my dog to the Canine Counselors. First few days the dog was in a jolly mood and he seemed to like the place too. It was until a week when I noticed a few changes in his behavior. He seemed to be unfriendly and was not active when he came back home in the evening. All he did was sleep throughout the time when he was with me. I noticed a bruise on one of his paw. He was not able to walk properly and wept all night. I made sure to go check out this place the other morning. I went there and asked the manager about it to which he made me assured that nothing as such happened to him here he was all fit and fine, but I still doubted their management and asked them for the CCTV footage for the same. At first, the manager was a bit hesitant do to so. I warned him about complaining it to the police to which he literally got scared and passed me the footage. I saw it with my own eyes, Lord Jesus! The care-keeper thrashed him with the stick a couple of times because he refused to eat the given food. After that, I checked out what could have stopped him from having his meal. It was all expired and old products that the dogs were fed. I had no idea how a care center this big could do such horrible things to an innocent animal. I canceled all my subscription right there and took my dog away.
