Thinking about oral health is something rare these days. People think brushing once or twice a day is the only thing you can do when it comes to oral hygiene but in reality, there are a lot of things that matter. People often go to dental clinics for regular checkups, cleaning, etc. To find the best dental clinic in town, you need to make sure that you have done enough research because there are a lot of cheaters outside. These evil clinics don’t even care about their patients. All they care about is the money they can make from their patients.
Finding a doctor is not easy but when it becomes your need, it is a tricky process. The Internet can give you several names of dentists but how can you find out if the clinic is the best in town? To answer this, you can check out their reviews. Some clinics claim to be the best but the reviews about them are the total opposite. I have been a victim of one of these clinics. Cape Cod Perio is a dental clinic located in Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts. Their website says a lot about different treatments and how they have a competitive edge but the experience I had was awful.
I had excessive gums that covered most part of my teeth and it did not look attractive when I laughed or smiled. I thought of getting a cosmetic crown lengthening and for that, I researched about different clinics. Cape Cod Perio struck me and I instantly chose them to do the job. I’m a freak about hygiene and the first problem that crossed me was the unhygienic clinical environment. It is the responsibility of management to maintain a no-smoking zone but no such thing was observed by me. I expected a cleaner clinic but unfortunately, I had to compromise on it. When the doctor was ready to treat me, I thought of getting the best treatment and I have never had a cosmetic surgery so I was a bit nervous. Surprisingly, the doctor himself did not know how to calm down so calming me down was not a thing to be considered by him. The whole process was very painful and gums must be nil for that. The doctor did not use any anesthetic I guess that’s why I felt every piece of equipment that was being used. He suggested two or three appointments but after my first appointment, I took a second opinion about it. Cosmetic crown lengthening requires several sittings and it cannot be done in just two or three. I had some good luck that I took a second opinion. I would never recommend anyone to choose Cape Cod Perio. This place has negligent and careless dentists who don’t care about their customers at all. I’m never going back there and I believe it would be better for you to avoid these guys as well.
