Hair Horror!! my hair was recently ruined this Saturday for my up coming wedding day this weekend. Capilli Hair design of Palmerston North refuse to refund my money $180 for only a colour and cut – no blowwave. I didn;t have time to get it redone due to time constraints and frankly wouldn”t want the same stylist doing it!! I complained, I was overcharged, hair left brittle and overprocessed ( I look like a 1985 Rocker!) I”m left chasing the salon owner – 4 mesages later, 2 emails, 4 txts and contact with the hair dressing asociation and commerce commission, including going into the salon etc. No luck!! The hairdressing association of New Zealand are aware of the issues with Capelli over a number of years but after further investigation apparently she continues to get away with bad practices, break codes of ethics of hairdressing and Fair Trading Acts. She always has court cases to attend to and a number of PG”s against her. I”m not in the hair dressing business – but I imagine this cannot be normal??
