$#@! is right. I hate this site. We ordered some mother’s day cards last Saturday and had them shipped 2 day mail. This morning (3 business days later), we called them up because we still hadn’t received the cards. No response. Called them back a few hours later and found out that they sent out the cards today…too late for delivery on Mother’s Day. Poor customer service. Don’t buy from these guys!

Horrible experience with double charging, late shipping direct to recipient (over 10 days to send a birthday card????), not including promised postage on orders, I could go on and on…Website is horrible and SLOW as well. Customer service is inconsistent and POOR overall. If you are looking for convenience or time savings, Cardstore.com is NOT your answer. STAY AWAY!

I ordered my Christmas photo cards on 12/3/13 and was promised delivery on or before 12/11/13. Received shipping confirmation that the cards were sent on 12/4/13 2 with “scheduled delivery date” of 12/6/13. The tracking site did not change, although I was checking each day. I called Cardstore.com customer service on 12/10/13 and was told that the shipment had been lost. I asked that they reprint the cards and send them overnight. The representative told me she would make this request, but I never heard another word from her or the order department. The original shipment finally arrived on 12/13/13. That was 9 days for a 2-day priority shipment! The quality of the cards is inferior to Shutterfly, whom I”d used for the previous 6 years. The most annoying aspect? Each time I sent a request to Customer Service complaining about the situation, I”d receive a reply saying “That”s us doing a happy dance; we love when our customers are pleased with our service” or another platitude. I highly recommend against purchasing cards from Cardstore.com.

I place an order on Monday, December 5 with 2 day shipping and received on Wednesday, December 7. The cards I received belonged to someone else. I received their cards with their personal information on the packing slip. I immediately called and alerted someone to the situation. They apologized and issued a reorder, not telling me that it would take another 24 to 48 hours to redo. I again called on December 9th and was told of the 24 to 48 hour print time and was assured I would receive the cards on Saturday, December 10 or no later than Monday, December 12. Monday December 12 came and no cards. I again called cardstore.com; the woman who answered the called was apologetic but couldn’t do anything for me and referred me to her supervisor. I was on hold waiting for ten minutes before being told the supervisor would call me back. Finally, Brandon called me back and after ten additional minutes and Brandon telling me there was nothing he could do, he then issued a refund. Although cardstore.com did in the end accept responsibility for their mistake, I had to pull teeth for them to see they dropped the ball. Terrible customer service.

I placed 3 separate orders for Christmas cards to be printed, stamped, & mailed. On day one, the order status came up as “error”. I called to find out what the problem was & was told it was a problem with the credit card. So I called the credit card company & they had not rejected the the charges. I called cardstore again & they said there was no problem with the credit card! They never sent an email to tell me there was a problem & the customer service was of no help at all. I couldn’t get an accurate answer from anyone — I tried via email & phone & chat about a dozen times. I went in again today to see the status of my order & found it had been CANCELLED by Customer “Service”!! Again, they did NOT communicate that they had cancelled the order, and charges are STILL pending on my credit card! They are sloppy in how they handle orders. They cannot communicate with the customer. They cannot problem solve for the customer. The make good coupon offers but they do not follow through on the deals they offer. I am hoping that I don’t have to go through a lot of hassle to get my credit card appropriately credited. I will never order from them again. My time is worth more than that. I may look into other more reliable providers such as vistaprint.com
CardStore Reviews & Complaints
I placed an order in November for my holiday cards, and I got a great deal for the 15 cards I had to send out. They shipped the cards directly to my family and friends for free, so I did not have to go to the post office to get fancy holiday stamps. I had one sent to myself so I could see how they turned out. It may have been my computer, but the photos seemed darker when printed. Also, I did not care for the card stock they used. I much prefer the glossy photo cards that Walgreens has. Additionally, the stamp on the card was not very festive. A bull with a spear through it? Happy Holidays, I guess. The most disappointing part was that shortly after the cards were sent out, I received a solicitation in the mail. It was not addressed to me, but in fact, it was addressed to one of my family members. There is no way that the name and my address would have any correlation except from my order through cardstore.com. I will be doing some research, but I believe cardstore.com sells the information on your orders. If you want to use their free shipping service, be wary. They might sell your family and friend’s information, too!
