24th August 2018 RE: Wrongful tagging of hand luggage It is with great disappointment, that I report an incident where my hand luggage was tagged wrongfully by your airline agent on flight BW 551 24th August 2018. Due to this I was inconvenienced greatly as the luggage had items contained that was not mine but belonged to close friends and family. While proceeding on the aircraft I was advised that it would be wise to tag my hand luggage because of a booked flight and limited room in the over head locker. As I was travelling with my son aged 15 we both decided based on the request to have our hand luggage tagged. On arrival at Piarco I spent a great deal of time trying to allocate my luggage. After some time I asked the baggage handler if that was all the luggage that came off of my flight 551, to which he replied in the affirmative. He then asked for my tag ticket which I gave to him. Immediately he brought a small black hand luggage and said this is it. I quickly looked at the brand of the luggage and said that is not mine. After being told that the number on the ticket matched the number on the luggage I reluctantly took the luggage. Later when I arrived at my destination I quickly opened the luggage and realized that the contents in it was not mine. I made a rush back to Piarco in an effort to give back the wrong luggage and receive mine… I was later told in the baggage area that I will have to fill out a form C 88and that reports will have to be made to both JFK and Guyana airports respectively. I received my luggage 3 days later. I looking for a desirable resolution of compensation for the inconvenience I experienced

Caribbean Airlines BW600 from POS to YYZ. Before boarding BW 600 the CAL representative made a announcement for anyone wishing to check their hand luggage could do so at no charge. My sister, cousin and I took up on the offer. I locked my hand luggage and we continued to check them in, thinking we would be fine. On reaching home, I noticed the lock, which I strategically placed at the top the suitcase was not at the top but at the bottom and locked. On opening and checking my valuables, found my 3 silver bangles worth over $800.00 CDN was missing. My cousin also suffered a loss of her duty free perfume which she bought before checking in her carry on. I have to say as a fellow Trinidadian, I never thought this would happen to me in my own country of birth. Those silver bangles were heirlooms which I thought were safe. Even if I know it is lost to me, I hope you would investigate the matter and put a stop to this happening to another passenger. My booking reference is VEGCRY.

Caribbean Airlines has ruined my wedding. On June 30th, 2009, as I was going to pay the remainder of the balanced owed on my wedding party”s tickets, Caribbean Airlines denied that my reservation for $397.10 per person traveling August 13th through the 18th exist. Despite the fact that I made a deposit of $1058.00 dollars toward the ticket reservations on March 28th. My wedding is on August 16th 2009. The groom”s whole family along with my bridesmaids were booked on Caribbean airlines flying out on August 13th returning August 18th for a fare 397.10. we made the initial deposit as requested on March 28, 2009 at their JFK branch with no problem and we were assured that our reservation was locked in. On June 30th we went to their JFK branch to pay the balance and they tell us that we are not reserved on the plane for the fare of 397.10 but at the fare of 491.00 and if we want to be on the flight we have to pay an extra $1100 for our group to travel. We made a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and we are also per suing legal action if they do not honor their agreement. According to the BBB they have a history of complaints re: Caribbean airlines stiffing people at the last minute. This cannot continue please help us! Basically they made a mistake but now instead of rectifying they are making it worst by giving us the run around and lying to us on every level. Not to mention the callous attitude of there middle management.

Carlene James 2105 Apricot Court Bowie, MD 20721 [protected] Attention: Caribbean Airlines Complaint Department I am writing a letter of complaint. On the morning of March 4, 2017 we checked in to flight BW 422. Myself, my husband and my father approached the counter and was attended to by agent “Annemarie”. I was only given her first name reluctantly by another woman who stated she was a supervisor. (I later found out her name was Annemarie Elder) My complaint is the attitude and lack of customer service displayed by “Annemarie”. We were traveling with my father who recently had a massive stroke, is a very brittle diabetic, and legally blind. While checking in, I said to her three times that we had previously requested wheelchair transport for my father. At no time did she acknowledge hearing me, as her concern was the fact that one of our bags were 1 kg overweight, another being 6 kgs overweight. With all due respect to the weight restriction, I did remove the 1 kg and explained to her that I had no where else to put the extra 6 kg. Her main interest was making sure I knew that I would have to go to the information desk to pay for an additional piece. Which I had agreed to pay. At this time, being quite annoyed with her lack of finesse I had to remind her once again about the wheelchair transport as she mumbled words to her co worker. I then remembered that due to my dad”s disability he should be allowed to check in his carry on. This is something I feel the agent should have known and offered as a courtesy! Instead she was more concerned about me going across the street to pay for the additional piece! All while my dad is still standing with absolutely no regard to his disabled status. Finally she gets him a wheelchair and wheels him to the side of the building. She appeared so annoyed that she did not even explain to me what we should do after my dad was wheeled to the side of the building. After almost 40 minutes I proceeded back to the counter to inquire about why we had not been escorted to the gate. Once again she mumbled words under her breath to the coworker, took a deep breath, and then proceeded to tell me that we will have to wait until she was finish checking everyone in . Please note that by this time there was several people arriving to check in. With my self, my husband, and dad being quite annoyed we found this process to be absolutely ridiculous and inconsiderate. Especially when dealing with an elderly diabetic who is very frail and needed to be attended to. I asked to wheel him myself and I was told that the agent must escort the passenger to the gate as this was Caribbean Airlines policy. Now, if this is the policy… why have us… your customer standing not sitting waiting for her to come to escort us to the gate. I spoke to another woman who stated she was the supervisor. All she did was apologize for the agents behavior and yet still had us waiting another 15 minutes. I then went back to the counter and demanded that someone take us to the gate immediately. Not only was this entire ordeal embarrassing and senseless, it also cause us to rush once we arrived upstairs. What is the purpose of arriving early for check in when this had to be our experience! The agent “Annemarie” walked pass me rolling her eyes and said absolutely nothing. I had to ask the supervisor who will be escorting us and at that time she told me that a gentleman (the only male agent working the counter at that time) would be escorting us. At the time I didn”t get his name, however I later found out his name was Keon Trim. He was very apologetic for the situation and went out of his way to assist us as quickly as possible after standing against a wall waiting for almost an hour. I applaud him for his professionalism and his attempt to dissolve a very stressful situation! Nonetheless, that I travel frequently on other airlines with either of my parents who both require wheelchair assistance and this has never been our experience! This is so unfortunate that we have to have this poor customer service experience in our own native land!! Very sad indeed!! Caribbean Airlines you need to do much better!! Please take this complaint seriously, as I would hate to know that this would be the treatment of passengers in need of wheelchair assistance. I am requesting a response as to how this situation will be handled and how to avoid this from ever happening again in the future! Your response will determine whether or not we will travel on your airline again! Thanks in advance for your prompt attention! Feel free to contact me for further details or questions in regards to this matter. My email is [protected]@verizon.net or by phone [protected]. Respectfully, Carlene James

Date: 15th april 2019 Re: customer complaint forth time – re damaged luggage – no response from company To complaints department Caribbean airlines I have decided to put all of this in writing as we have now attempted several times to claim via the email method without success of any reply. We did a correspondence via your website last week and were not responded to. Debra and I traveled with caribbean airlines from trinidad to barbados on thursday 7th march on flight bw0412 8.05am. On arrival in barbados my suitcase was missing all together and debra’s arrived badly damaged. I eventually got my suitcase at 10pm that night delivered to my aunts home which was appreciated. We have been trying to get the matter of debra’s suitcase resolved since. Debra’s suitcase was purchased for this holiday, so it was brand new. It is a futura hard shell orange suitcase and when it was taken off the luggage carousel in barbados the suitcase was very badly damaged. The damage was reported immediately to the person who took down the details of my missing suitcase. This is a copy of the report that was provided to us on the day. The suitcase is not repairable, as it was brand new, we have contacted the manufacturer and have been informed that we are not able to claim it under warranty as the hard-shell part is not under warranty only zips and wheels etc. The case has been badly treated by the baggage handlers for it to be so broken. We were advised by the staff on the baggage dispute counter that we should claim the baggage damage, as it was due to mishandling while in the care of your airline baggage staff. Here are the pictures that were taken in barbados airport. We are seeking compensation for the damages to our new suitcase and believe that we should be reimbursed for the cost of the suitcase so that we can buy a new suitcase. We paid $359.00 australian for the suitcase on the 31st october last year. We would appreciate a response from your business as we have now tried on three occasions to place a claim without success. Each time we have completed it on line we get a message stating that our claim has been successful and then we don’t hear anything further. I would appreciate a reply email to this one to acknowledge receipt of this email and then I will wait for a formal response as to the companies reply on our request. Regards, David and debra smith

Dear Caribbean Airlines In terms of the data provided by me, you might have realized that I unfortunately missed my flight to Miami and had to book with Suriname Airways in order to arrive in Miami on the said day namely Oct 4th 2018. I was subsequently able to utilize the return flight on the 6th Oct 2018 and was told by Caribbean Airlines in Miami, that my half ticket Geo-Miami would be valid for one year, which I view as most accommodating and considerate by your Airline Service. My attempt to travel to Miami in Sept this year was impossible, due to the Dorian Storm warning of which I believe your Airline is aware. I have therefore been trying for the past week to reschedule my flight before the 4th of October this year by booking my return ticket from Miami to Georgetown and utilizing the Geo-Miami ticket promised to me for my onward journey to Miami. This has become a frustrating experience as I am faced with an alarming amount of inconsiderate excuses from your Airline which are beyond my comprehension and which does not or should not comply with your reputation. I am therefore humbly requesting that Caribbean Airlines validate their commitment and issue me a return ticket to Miami by having me pay the return fare and fulfilling their original promise on the Geo-Miami leg of this Journey, or should I consider this leg of the journey as forfeited and lose my financial input. I await an anticipated response which I hope would be to my expectations. Thanking you and may God continue to guide your Airline Services in the interest of your Customers that continue to choose you above others in Truth and in Honesty. Yrs Sincerely Dr. iamei Aowmathi.

Flight BW11 on April 23, 2016 – Thanks Caribbean for ruining our 20th anniversary trip with a poor business class experience. We paid full fare to fly business class as we always do with Caribbean Airlines. Priority check-in, friendly service, etc. is supposed to happen. This was not the case on our return flight home. We arrived for Business Class priority check-in. One of our bags was 5 pounds too heavy over the 50 pound limit. Business class passengers are allowed to check a total of 3 bags each (6 bags between the 2 of us) of 50 pounds each. We were checking in 4 bags (2 regular and 2 carry-on sized suitcases). Since we did not have 6 bags as we were entitled to we asked a very unpleasant representative named Jasmine if the slightly heavy bag was ok. Of course she said no and we were forced to open our baggage there placing our items on the dirty floor and in front of all other passengers to shift our baggage contents. As we did she stood back and laughed in amusement along with a few of her co-workers at her ability to aggravate and annoy us. We found this extremely embarrassing and disrespectful. If this is Caribbean”s idea of priority check-in it is clearly better to fly economy with any other airline. Caribbean would rather have us place 2 additional bags (possibly 50 pounds each) on the plane or even one rather than allow a bag 5 pounds too heavy on board unless we pay $75. Do you see the silliness? We could put on 2 other bags with a possible total weight of 100 pounds at no cost, but must pay $75 for taking fewer bags that would occupy less cargo space and weight because one is 5 pounds too heavy. Not to mention if hypothetically we had an extra bag beyond 6 limit (again we only had 4) the fee would only be $25 for a traveler taking a 7th bag. We would be required to pay more for 5 extra pounds than a person with a full sized 50 pound extra bag. This was ridiculous and almost unbelievable considering that we already paid $1, 943.68 USD for the round trip flight. The logic and pricing is beyond flawed. Ultimately, the point is that we should not have been hassled in the least to begin with. We had another small bag for duty free shopping once through security. One of the best parts of vacation is bringing back gifts and souvenirs to family and friends. When we arrived to the departure gate there was wonderful Jasmine again, but with a friend from immigration who gave a nasty response to my wife when she asked was the flight boarding. Another act that was total uncalled for and disrespectful and reflects negatively upon Caribbean Airlines. Additionally, an agent was there with a dog. We aren”t stupid so we knew this was a special treat waiting for us courtesy of Jasmine. There goes that priority and business class service again. So of course boarding starts, we present our tickets, go to board the plane and the agent lets his dog from the leash to intimidate us and calls us over to have our bag of gifts for our family searched. Too our knowledge we are the only passengers subjected to this degradation. Now they have stepped it up a notch and are not only disrespecting us, but discouraging duty free shopping meant to help Jamaica”s economy. Way to go again Caribbean. As hard working professional people, we remain angry, disheartened, and disgraced by this shameful and unacceptable experience. This was our reward for spending our hard earned income with and trusting your airline. Thanks for the anniversary gift. The fact that the morning after returning from an expensive vacation celebrating a huge milestone in our lives we are compelled to spend time writing this letter speaks volumes. We should be reminiscing about a fantastic week of travel not a flight fiasco. We hope it will speak loudly to Caribbean”s management to better train employees so this does not happen to any passenger. We will indeed share our story with others through TripAdvisor, Facebook, and other outlets, so others are aware of the risk being taken when dealing with Caribbean Airlines and exactly what the Business Class experience truly means where your airline is concerned. We hope not many have experienced or will experience and endure the indignity we have by trusting and flying your airline.

Flight from Miami to POS and from POS to Suriname on 1 may 2019 . Departure from POS was scheduled for 23.35. After several changes it finally took place a round 08.30 next morning (9 hours later) . Without any proper information to the passengers .My husband and me did not get any blanket to cover “because there were not enough”. The service was VERY BAD just like the food and the coffee on the flight. We DID NOT get what we paid for!!! The least we should be compensated is the refund of the tickets (money) If the delay is 6 hours or longer the company has to refund the money completely. I NEVER expected THIS treatment from Caribbean airlines.

Flight leaving Kingston, Jamaica March 25 at 6pm.(079) Coming in from the Rural area I gave myself extra time. I arrived at the airport 2.45pm checking in was a breeze. I stood in line at the extra baggage kiosk from 3.30pm to 5.15pm I have never felt so rushed. To make matters worst an employee entered the kiosk by a side door and paid for a traveller’s extra baggage. When I confronted her- her response to me was ” I am a Supervisor”.My response to her was “Then you should know better and respect others who have been waiting” Instead of circumventing the system to help their friends these supervisors should really try to recognize a problem and ways to solve it.

Flying Caribbean airlines was the worst mistake of my life. We planed this vacation over a year and a half ago. The wrong airport was accidentally booked with Caribbean airlines- I called to change it- Airline said non changeable and non nonrefundable for all 4 tickets. I had to eat the cost of each ticket and rebook. Once Vacation times rolls around- My luggage never made it to St. Vincent. There was a total of 4 of us traveling- My luggage was the only one to not make it to the island and it is still LOST. The trip was a month ago. I have filed claims- no response. Every person I speak to at the airport for Caribbean airlines transfers me to someone else. I have been hung up on. I am sick to my stomach of loosing my luggage and clearly Caribbean airlines does not care. On our way home- our flight was delayed so long we missed out lay over in port of Spain- Had to stay there for 11 hours which then caused us to miss our flight in JFK. ABSOLUTE DISASTER. DO NOT FLY WITH CARIBBEAN AIRLINES. we travel to extravagant places twice a year and I will never use this airline again. I want to find my luggage. Not having any luggage for the entire trip was terrible- they could at least show some compassion

Follow up from previous complaint sent Feb 6/2017 Ref #3BKJZ3 my family first visit to Tobago even though they were going to book from Toronto with Air Canada (Rouge) I encouraged them to come with Caribbean even though I sent in their complaint with all the facts we got no where. The reply I got back from a Marie saying they reviewed and basically they saw that no mistake was made at their end trust me it was. I book these flights twice a year so when I called to book for my family I knew exactly how I wanted the six of them to fly to Tobago. As mentioned you are a Monopoly Company at the moment however there is a God. Now they were suppose to fly back yesterday March 18/17 leaving Tobago at 9:50 pm arriving in Trinidad @ 10:10pm then travelling to Toronto @ 1:10 am arriving at 7:00am the flight to Toronto was changed to 5:40 am we were not notified even though they said we were imagine the nightmare for the two Seniors, three Children and their Dad having to wait all those hours at the Airport there first experience travelling with Caribbean Airlines was a disaster I totally regret telling them to fly Caribbean, the Customer Service stinks, no one seem to care what”s going on guys. Then the seven year old forgot his I pod stand on the plane from Tobago having realized this when they got off he notified his Granny who tried in vain to get HELP for that child to get it back to no avail. When she called me from Toronto this afternoon after they arrived I was so angry and once again very disappointed with the Service they received from inception which started on March 8/17 they children said they don”t want to come back and the adults are right there with them sad wouldn”t you agree. As for my husband and I we have to start looking for alternatives for our future travels, because we retired and moved to Tobago from Canada. Your Customer Care Staff need to be TRAINED and COACHED properly they are a bloody mess, how does one not care it”s their job to shoe empathy come on guys. I had received a reply from a Marie how does someone reply to a complaint and put their first name. WOW

For my wife’s bday we were supposed to be boarding a flight at 11:50pm. There were no delays as we checked the flight before leaving. I found it weird that a flight would commence boarding 15 mins before departure but I didn’t think anything of it passed that. It is 1am and they still havent started boarding ! Your airline sucks !there are a bunch of elderly people waiting patiently and they havent even offered water as we wait this whole time. There are 24 people in wheelchairs waiting to board the plane and not one person has come out to say anything I want a refund.

George Anthony Boland 90 Hale Terrace Bridgeport, CT 006610 January 13, 2018 TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN Over the years my family and I have been traveling with Caribbean Airlines, but never in my life have experience this horrible service before while traveling. My round trip on January 6, 2018 was canceled because of the leak at terminal 4. At Norman Manley International Airport Caribbean Airline staff acknowledge us that the flight have been cancelled, I was talking to the young lady and the attitude she gave me, Im 51 years old she could be my daughter. The attitude she gave me when I ask her why the flight cancelled, she was so disrespectful, how can you be talking to customers like that. This is first in my life I had bad customer service like this, when I said to her remember you are in your caribbean airline uniform her response was “Mi no must have to work here so”, I was like Omg thats disrespectful. Also, I appreciate that I got accommodated to and hotel, but the service there is poor, the toilet in my bathroom was not flushing and the AC was not working. However, no one from the airline communicate with me lucky I saw what happened on CNN news. I lost 4 days pay my first job I lost $980 US Dollars, my first job I work 7am-3pm I lost $500 US Dollars and my second job I work from 4pm -11:30pm I lost $480 US Dollars. Therefore, I would like full compensation on the days I lost. I accept what happened but base on the service I got I can”t accept losing four days pay. Also, all my stuff I purchase to take home spoiled, I bought 18 dozen ackee at $2500 JMD dollars, Breadfruit at $3000 JMD Dollars and bammy at $1800 JMD in US dollars that”s around 41 dollars. However, when I boarded the plane I was very happy because I finally get to leave jamaica but never knowing that I was at risk to lose my life. I”m sitting in my seat only to hear the pilot announced that there”s and oil leak and that they are having technical difficulties. Never in my life I when on a plane and this happened I was so traumatized, Im 51 years old, I need to live and see my grandkids grow old. I don”t understand why was I and other person on the plane place on a plane that wasn”t safe for take off, my flight was to depart at 7am and instead delayed for 3 hr and 3 mins, that”s unacceptable. I could have lost my life, Caribbean Airline need to do better because I asked over and over to be place on a different flight and no response. However, persons from business class was sent on a flight at a different airport. Even Though we were on the same flight, I WILL NEVER TRAVEL BACK ON CARIBBEAN AIRLINE IN MY LIFE AGAIN. I rather pay more and take other airline. Base on the service I received I need back a full compensation of my stuff got spoiled, my pay I lost and my ticket I paid and regretted it. Good day, I contacted caribbean airlines on Monday the 7th October at around 12:05 pm, using contact numbers 625-7200. I inquired about leaving the ANR Robinson international Airport at 9:30pm with my destination being Piarco International Airport that said night. I was told a 9:30 flight was available and it would be booked for two passangers ( Myself and my daughter) and got my travel itinerary via email which states the following: EPARTURE: TOBAGO, TT (A.N.R. ROBINSON INTL) 07 OCT 21:30 ARRIVAL: PORT OF SPAIN, TT (PIARCO INTL) 07 OCT 21:55 FLIGHT BOOKING REF: BW/S4G64V RESERVATION CONFIRMED, ECONOMY (W) DURATION: 00:25 – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE: 23K MEAL: NO MEAL SERVICE NON STOP TOBAGO TO PORT OF SPAIN AIRCRAFT OWNER: CARIBBEAN AIRLINES, BW EQUIPMENT: AEROSPATIALE/ALENIA ATR42/72 GENERAL INFORMATION I arrived for my 9:30pm flight only to find out that the 8:30pm flight was just about to depart and it would be the last flight for the night. I was also told that there would’nt be any flights out of Tobago after 8:30 pm for a while. Why are they booking flights that are a no show? Why i had to pay $100 TT to change our tickets for a fault that was NOT mine?

Good day, I recently traveled from Trinidad and tobago (POS) to Florida (FLL) on your BW480 (MEUEP9) confirmation flight. Upon checking in, it came to our attention that my name was incorrect. I did not have my surname in my booking information and instead had my middle name processed as it, this was an error of the agency I booked my ticket through. However, the lady that checked me in said that it was okay and did not see the need to rectify the problem and accepted it even though the name on my passport did not correspond with the booking information. Which lead me to question what are the security procedures of Caribbean Airlines. How come was I able to leave my country so easily with the wrong name on my ticket? When I arrived in Florida, the problem was spotted in immigration and I experienced some issues which took a while to rectify but thankfully they was able to solve that and i was able enter the country after being questioned. I would have liked to not experience this issue at all. I was not given this luxury of the benefit of the doubt on my return flight with another airline company who made sure I rectified my name before checking in, after spending hours in the airport which were one and a half hours away i stayed until after one in the morning the night before my flight which were at 7:30am. This situation could’ve been avoided before i left Trinidad. So again, i am questioning the security procedures of Caribbean Airlines. Is not having your name on your passport correspond with your name on your ticket not a problem? Doesn’t this make it for anyone to easily commit fraud? I am very interested in knowing because I believe in doing things properly, even if it was an error of the travel agency, allowing me to go on board with a wrong name should not have happened. This lack of professionalism and attentiveness led me to face more issues and I certainly was not satisfied with my experience traveling with Caribbean Airlines. I hope something is done for this tiring and stressful experience. I hope for a respectable response. Thank you Contact information: E-mail: joshua.[protected]@hotmail.com

Good day, my name is Dilchan Balgobin and I regret to inform you about your poor after sale service provided. Last night myself among seven family members were carded to return from ANR airport on flight number Bw1835 destined to piarco. Naturally my family flies frequently with cal and are aware that flights get delays etc. Our issue however isn’t that the flight was canceled but the manner in which we were handled wrt the cancellation. We were at the airport no later than 6:10pm acquired our boarding passes and were advised that the flight was delayed. New flight time posted on the screens was 9:50pm. That was a non issue after all what’s an hour later. Proceeded to clear security get comfortable seats and await our flight. At about 10pm an aircraft we could only assume was ours arrives at the airport. At this point an announcement is made paging the flights carded to leave after us 10: 15 and 10:25 pm. At this point everyone is inquiring why isn’t our flight being called. Upon approaching the desk your rep ensures us the supervisor is working on it. This in when things get confusing our flight disappears from the screens as if it was never there. We again question the rep and are informed in 10 minutes we will be updated. They scamper around for about 45 minutes only to come and announce in natural voice ( not using the pa system) the flight Bw1835 has been canceled. The reason given by your supervisor Mr Sheldon Irvin is that the staff ran out of time so the flight cannot happen again. At this point the entire passenger roster starts making inquires Mr Irvin doesn’t entertain any questions for over half an hour. He then announces that the flight is canceled and there are no accommodations on behalf of cal for the passengers. Naturally everyone is confused as to where they are going to sleep especially after being told we have to vacate the check in area. I have had experience with cal in the past and was well taken care of during the inconvience cause by the airline. Why wasn’t Mr Irvin equipped with at the very least a room to house your loyal passengers? We were cast on the streets like common dogs. Is this the professional manner in which your establishment handles customers? I have decided to take first steps in this matter by reaching out directly to you all. I trust that some level of professionalism exists within your operations. Mr Irvin is very unprofessional and has made a terrible representation of your establishment. He was even referred to check your policy on cancellations. Which he eventually indicated he isn’t going to do such. This was a horrible experience and my family and I did not deserve that treatment. Had we been on standby and didn’t gain a flight or consideration that would have been fine. But clearly that wasn’t the case. I look forward to a speedy resolve on this matter. Good day. I wanted to thank Carribean airlines for a wonderful flight experience on BW017 (April 16, 2017 @ 7:25 pm). However I am a bit displeased with the service when leaving Kingston, Ja. When I arrive I”m NY, I realized that I had a package missing. I had a total of three bags of fish. I arrived home in MY to only find 2 packages. This is upsetting, because it is a scared time for me and my family for Easter. I am asking that something is done to protect passengers from theft and to feel safer when flying with Carribean airlines. If you have any questions you may calll [protected] Tricia Harvey. Good morning, I took my bag off BW551 which left on the 24th Jan from JFK to Port of Spain. When I was coming through customs I noticed the combination lock was broken and it won’t close properly. This happened in transit between JFK and Trinidad. I reported it in the airport and filled out a form, Tag number BW452862. The bag is a black Samsonite hard shell case. Thanks for your help in sorting this out, Best regards, Niamh My email address is [protected]@yahoo.co.uk and my friend Yvonne’s local telephone number is 3309035.

GREAT disappointment in Caribbean airline. My son traveled on airline father”s Day from ft Lauderdale to Jamaican as a unaccompanied miner this mean I pay for help. On arrival in Jamaica my son father was told his son was not allowed to bring under wear and bra for female family members but they will allow him. So sad to say item was missing from his check on suit case. Item taking was deodorants, sprays from bath and body, bath soap, victory secret under etc..on top off all they offer him a can soda that”s it. This is my first and lost time using them.

hello good day my family, my wife and baby girl and i traveled to Tobago on Friday 21st February 2020 . Our flight was at 4.25 pm as a habit we arrived early, when we went to check in we were told our flight was canceled and we did not even received and notification from them about that and had 2 options a flight at 3.15 pm with 3 sets remaining and the other at 5.25 pm. as I had my baby with us we took the 3.15pm flight . when we boarded our sets were 2a, 2b, 2c, there were other passengers in those sets so i went to the air-hostess and she told me we can set were ever we got a place. we ended up only getting 2 sets . the air-hostess notice that we paid for 3 sets and only got 2 sets and told us call the airline and we will be refunded . so yesterday Wednesday 26th February 2020 i called and they told me they can’t do anything about that. I am very disappointed with in which this matter was handled with so little regard to Caribbean airlines customers and to be told we will not be refunded our money . if you don’t have any regard for your customer then how do you expect to be a world class provider. good customer service goes a long way. and also communicating to your customers about flight changes should also be a priority of yours . families with small children and babies can not be felt out in the cold like that . with little ones to care for information on flights must be current and updated and sent to all passages so that they can make an informed decision.

Hello you all. in December 3rd I booked a flight ticket with your company, I needed to flight to GEO from HAV on January 29th 2019. I got the ticket for that day as I thought in flight BW477 HAV – POS and BW483 POS – GEO, record locator LNP465. For many reasons I had to change my date flight to January 26th, I ran to the Take Off Commercial Sales Office in HAV located at 23 Ave on date December 6th, the sales Agent named Marta Chuy Aleman did not know how to set the date change in the system, after 1hrs of trying she asked me to come back another day because she did not know the way of doing that change, she took my phone number and told me that she wanted to find out with another agent to do itas well and after that she will call me to pass for the office, I called her next day and was the same. I came back on December 12th very upset and she told me that the change was made in the system but she did not know how to set the fees to complete the change, once more asked me to come another day and asked me to let her the fee 50.00 $ to pay the charges for the flight day change, and she will call me once done, I let her the money and so far I still calling her back and I do not have reservation neither my 50.00 back, I expect you do something because how she is working for your company and does not know how to do it !!! I have been waiting for more than a week to get my new ticket and nothing happens, people like this one make your company fall and loose customers interested of flying with you.

Hello, I was traveling from jfk to pos Saturday morning boarding at 7:30. Everything went smoothly until I reach to the boarding area where the flight was full to capacity per the representatives. They were offering to take carry on baggages to another area on the plane to make accommodation for everyone”s luggages. I went up to the counter & an elderly woman who was one of the representatives there was very rude & lack every ounce of customer service skills, I could not believe she works there & represent the company. She started yelling at me that my carry is too big & did not want to hear anything else. After standing there with her going back & forth about my carry on I asked for the manager. The manager Rene came & he was extremely unpleasant, I asked him why they checked my bag & allowed me up to board the plane & now I”m being told it”s not the size of a carry & must pay $35. I was very upset because of the fact I was allowed all the way through check in & security now with no other option I”m being forced to pay $35 for something that was not my fault. The manager said I was not able to board the plane unless I pay. This is the worst experience ever in my life, I will never fly Caribbean airlines again. There was no courtesy & no respect to the customer since airport staff allowed me in with my luggage as a carry to be then forced to pay for my carry on to board the plane. I want a full refund for this. The manager refused to give me his full name. When I asked him to write it down he said I”m not writing down anything so I took a picture.

Hello, My name is Yeonjin Lee and my reservation number is KBCET4. I am requiring a compensation for the serious inconvenience. I noticed on Dec 7 that my flight from Kingston to Havana is cancelled but finally today(Dec 16) I received the definite cancellation email. I had no other options but to reserve another flight, so I paid $547.7 for Jetblue. I made a late booking because of the late notification of the cancellation, so I paid an unexpected high price. 1. The difference between what I originally reserved and what I paid lately is $120. 2. Because of the change of the flight, I must change all my schedule and stay one more night in New York. I had to pay $130 for the extra stay. I am requiring total $250 for the change of my schedule. I hope you to take responsibility for the sudden disruption of my plan. My email is [protected]@naver.com, phone number is [protected]. I’ll be waiting for your reply.

Hello, Myself and my daughter were flying back from Guyana. Our complaint is about our flight booking# [protected] & [protected] with myself and my daughter coming back from Guyana to final destination Toronto. The flight left Geoegetown on time and got to Port of Spain at 9:25 am. The flight should have left at 1:05pm for Toronto but did not leave Port of Spain until after 7:30pm and got to Toronto after 2pm. In that time they were no proper information being filtered to the passengers except for mechanical difficulties. We were hungry, tired, cranky and exceptionally bored waiting for hours with limited access to updates. We had to buy our own meals and paid in US currency. Their was no concession given to the passengers, we had to fend for ourselves for lunch and dinner. All our stuff that was frozen were spoiled by the we reached our destination worth over $700 Canada between myself and my daughter. Hopefully we can get back some sort of monetary compensation for everything that we lost as it was not cheap. Thank you in anticipation and hope to hear back from you soon. Hi I recently took a trip to Trinidad and Tobago using your airline at the day when I was making my bookings I was told that the flight i was interested in had a layover which I was some what ok with my schedule departure from Jfk was at 1am on February 24th then there will be a 3/4 stop in Jamaica which I had absolutely no problem BUT the as I was getting ready to depart thinking I was heading to Trinidad then suddenly I was told that the flight would be stopping in Barbados an hour or so I honestly hated the fact that I was placed in a situation where I was NOT given such acknowledge it was deceiving, disrespectful and most a dangerous action for me not knowing something as important as this so I could have been mentally prepared. Supposedly something had happened to me on this type of flights I told my family is was heading to Trinidad and then Jamaica and so happens I’m in Barbados not a very pleasant experience. .I need some sort of apology or something because this is a full format of Disrespectful action l

Hi my name is Denise Keitt, I was returning from piarco trinidad & tobago to JFK airport. My original flight was Sunday 8th April 12:15 am, it was delayed to 10:am on Sunday 8th April, however when I got to piarco only to find out that the flight was delayed, the explanation was that there wasn”t enough crew members, the staff was extremely disrespectful, rolling their eyes with attitude, at that time i ask to speak with the coordinator which explained that this decision was made at 7:30pm on Saturday 7th, she never once apologize to us because myself and others were asking for hotel stay because at the time I was travelling with my 7 year old son, it cost me 100.00 us to get to the airport from fyzabad and since there was no accommodation I had to leave and it cost another 100.00 us to get back to the airport, I do have cab receipts and would like to know if somehow I can be compensated, I always travel with Caribbean airlines because I never had an issue until now. Hi my name is Kim Addessio I called today as I have a reservation leaving June 7th out of JFK to Montego Bay. I was inquiring about upgrading my seats as I have been dealing with bad anxiety and felt maybe I would need more room to not feel so closterfobic also I have a very bad knee. The customer service rep basically laughed and said you want to change your seat because u have anxiety I said yes. He proceeded to think it was funny. Anxiety is a very serious medical condition if you didn”t know that. I booked this trip with Wendy through cheap Caribbean where she said your airline was A+. Well I don”t feel that way and called her requesting an airline switch. She told me to write this complaint in hope that someone would help me with my request as she speaks very highly of the airline. So I said I would give it a try. Can someone please call or email me [protected] or kim.[protected]@yahoo.com

I am Evelyn Waltrous Booking Reference number OMXZ7G and ticket number [protected]. I took a group of 6 adults and 2 children to Suriname September 2019 to October 2019. Four of the adults traveled business class one child traveled business class one child was a lap baby one passenger was comfort and the other was coach. In all Caribbean Airlines made approximately $10, 000 from this trip. Checking into Kennedy was uneventful but we had a double stroller for the kids and we were told that we had to collect the stroller in Trinidad or it would not arrive with us in Suriname. When we arrived in Trinidad the staff was not invested in helping us obtain the stroller. We had to approach a myriad of people who would not get up to get the stroller. I stopped in the ladies room before going to the gate for the plane departing to Suriname . When i arrived at the gate i approached the ticket counter employee who was named Adam Ali. When i inquired about the stroller i was met with the most disrespectful dismissive arrogant rude unprofessional responses from Mr. Ali. Apparently my son had asked him about the stroller while i was in the ladies room and Mr Adam Ali let me know that he resented having to answer the same question twice. He spoke in loud enough tones that other passengers heard and were watching as he took pleasure in humiliating me. He cross examined me as if i were a criminal and when he was finished placed his gaze down sending a clear message that i was not worth the time that he would have to address me all because i asked him the same question twice. I could have traveled on Suriname Airlines or any other airline for that matter but chose Caribbean Airlines and have regretted it because of Mr Adam Ali’s antics. I pay the extra money to travel business class because i want the type of service that represents the thousands of dollars i pay. Caribbean Airlines was far below the grade and as a result of Mr Ali’s antics I have no desire of traveling with you again. Mr Ali should be terminated from Caribbean Airlines and if that is not feasible he needs intensive retraining. I would suggest that you have lost many more passengers who chose not to write a letter of complaint because of Mr Ali and other employees unprofessionalism This lose of money and passengers is because of Mr Ali and your Trinidadian staffs poor business etiquette.

I am filing a complaint about my flight with my husband, daughter and myself from Toronto Canada which stopped at Port Spain, Trinidad, and the final destination was Grenada. The e-ticket numbers are 106-[protected], 106-[protected], and 106-[protected]. The reason I am complaining about the flight is because there was a 3 hour delay in Toronto when heading to Trinidad. After we arrived in Trinidad, we delayed another 2 hours to get to our destination to Grenada because our plane to Grenada had to go to Tobago first to drop of passengers. We also weren”t allowed to leave the Trinidad airport. We then arrived in Grenada after eleven instead of 9 p.m. Coming back from Grenada, we delayed two hours and when we arrived in Trinidad we delayed another two hours. The trip overall had too many delays. I am not happy with the service for my family of three. My email address is [protected]@cogeco.ca. My phone number is [protected]. Thank You.

I am from Venezuela. I am currently living in Canada. I got two tickets for my parents to come to visit me to get the flight from Venezuela to Trinidad and Trinidad to Toronto (1hour and 30 minutes they will have in transit in the airport at Trinidad) . I used two times this airline before and in my opinion it was good I never asked me for a Trinidad’s Visa but in this opportunity I have to change my mind about you. My parents couldn’t take the fly because they are asking for Trinidad Tobago Visa. NEW request for people who have Venezuelan passport ( kind of racism I feel now). First, It should said that in the website so I will avoid to get the tickets from you. I understand if you want to visit Trinidad I will need a visa but ask me for a Visa to be in transit (inside the airport) for me it doesn’t make sense it. I called today to ask to get refund of money from the tickets for my parents and they said to me they just can refund just the tickets from Venezuela to Trinidad and Trinidad- Venezuela but they can’t refund the money from the tickets from Trinidad to Toronto and Toronto to Trinidad. My question is how my parents are going to use the tickets from Trinidad to Toronto and Toronto to Trinidad if they can’t go there not even for transit at airport because they don’t have the Trinidad’s visa. Really unhappy about that.

I arrived at 9:10pm when my flight was at 9:35pm, only because my grandma was sick from something she ate or too much time in the sun which caused her to be nauseous and sickly. I couldn”t leave her and my ill-manly father as well home, whiles I come in and check-in .. also because I am pregnant and cannot carry heavy luggage all by myself. The lady at the front desk in Tobago where the Trinidad Check-IN”s desk is (Monday April 24th and 9:10pm on the right side of the desk, didn”t get her name but y”all can check the cameras for that to see who I was speaking with) had said “are you aware that you”re late for your check-in” and I said “yes but I have a reason why”. She didn”t ask further on and inquired on my reason and then said “because we”re late for check-in, they gave away our seats at 9:00pm and the plane has left, so you”re on standby till 11pm” with a bold face and no eye-contact whatsoever, looking sideways. I am a woman of character and I deserve respect like any customer for a customer representative of an airport to at least look into my eyes or face when she is talking to me, and to be kind with her responses; not with attitude. I kindly would like a reason why the airport decided to give away my seats away, and didn”t have the decency to call on. A slip was placed in the bag by TSA indicating baggage inspection .besides the missing shoes the front of the bag though sipped up, was left unsipped & as such few pieces of clothing there could have fallen out -, may i suggest they sipp up once they search . I Edgar Laboy had booked a direct flight from NY, JFK to Guyana, Georgetown with my wife, Shakuntala Deokie. E-ticket [protected] & [protected]. We arrived at the airport 3:30am to discover our direct flight for 7am was canceled. We had to take another flight that was not direct and had a layover at Trinidad. My issue is that where never notified nor given reason why our flight was canceled. My issue is the cost I paid for a direct flight that was not rendered. I feel there was no consideration for this inconvence that was given to me and my wife. I paid for a service not rendered, what is carbbian airline going to do for us so we could feel satisfied with the service it provides to customers. Can we again feel comfortable that we could rely on your airline on our next Caribbean vacations?. Thank you.

I flew back from Montego Bay to JFK on June 4th, and I was told I needed to put on a jacket in order to board my flight. I obliged and when I was boarding the flight, someone dressed in a t-shirt and jeans took my passport, frisked me, and another took all of my items from my bag and search it. I had already went through with this at security, so why again? I was made to feel like a criminal and held up the boarding line for no reason. Also, there were numerous people on the flight with sleeveless shirts. Why was I singled out? I expect compensation for this mistreatment.

I havebeen travelling with this airline from it was Air Jamaica. I”ve been a loyal customer and still stick with the cross over to Carribean Airline. My flight was July 31 at 10:00 am flight BW30 to Montego Bay, Jamaica. It was the worst flight I have ever been on. Flight was delayed due to the flight attendants luggage not checked on or thats what we were told. When the plane took off it felt as if they were racing. Well we arrived safely. The luggage took forever to come out, when it did one of my zippers looked tampered with I made nothing of it. When I got to my destination and unpacked one foot of my shoes was missing. Your workers stole one foot and couldn”t get the other as it was packed in another suitcase. How disgusting and despicable. People work hard for their things and to know that I paid my money to fly this airline and my things are not safe I Stacy Williams will never fly this airline again.
