I bought a 2003 Ford Escape Hybrid from this car dealer. I took it for Maryland Inspection today and the mechanic told me the car’s under carriage was completely rusted out and suggested we go back to the dealer and demand a refund. When I bought the vehicle, there was some surface rust. The dealer admitted there was, but said nothing about the under carriage rust. She knew full well that it had extensive under carriage rust. In fact she rued buying this vehicle from an on line auction because of the amount rust they found when they took delivery. I asked her how much rust she believed covered the car. She replied,”Just surface rust”
