Carter's Plumbing

I called and spoke with the owner about getting a exact price for snaking out a sink. I knew it needed snaking out so i asked what the price would be. i had got over charged from another plumber like a couple years ago as he quoted a price on the phone and after doing the job gouged me wayy more so i learned from my lesson and i didn’t want it to happen again. So the owner of Carters Plumbing quotes me $120 a hour. i say deal. so we set the appointment for 4 days later, i didn’t even think they were coming as i called him 2x that morning and he didn’t return the calls then finally he called and said they would be coming and showed up 45 minutes later than he said. So i have to leave work early to get to my house and the guy comes in, i show him the slow draining sink and he goes it will be $198.50 to snake it out. i go what??? your owner told me it was $120 an hour. he goes ohhh that’s only if we have to work on something. i told him to leave. I told him his owner quoted me $120 hour and i was very specific on what was needed to be done so that there would be no surprises in pricing. he goes ohh i will have to talk with him then.??? DO NOT use these guys as they will gouge you. i waited 4 days for nothing. i called the owner back and sure enough no answer. I left a detailed message and he never called back, i would have thought he would have called to try and rectify this, honor his word etc… nope, Nothing. Horrible, poor service, this is what you will get if you call them. if you read all the other reviews on yelp you will see a similar pattern out of these guys. | Do not call this company!
