Buyer beware – run away fast! The website advertises funeral caskets with “Free Next Day Nationwide Delivery Available” and “All Prices Include Free Standard Shipping” but I was billed more than twice the advertised price! Here is the actual receipt: Quote: Aurora 20 Gauge Sealer Baltic Blue Casket $1490 and $445 delivery with $275 air tray (shipping container) and $185 courier service from the airport with $145 packaging of casket for delivery and $75 removal of packaging with $75 Saturday/weekend delivery and a $90 casket plus tax&processing($120.10) Sub-Total: $5561 Tax: $222.40 Total: $3122.50 Unquote. (note, the sub-total and total do not add up!) Casketsite will email you an agreement to sign. That agreement does not mention any of the additional costs which were more that the advertised casket cost, more than doubling the total cost of the transaction. I previously purchased a similar mail-order casket from another company and the total cost including all delivery cost was exactly as advertised. I spoke with Casketsite about this…they are totally unrepentant about their deceptive practices.
