I went to Certified Transmission to get some of my business done and the overall place gave me a very bad experience. It is a complete garbage company and they claim to be better than the original manufacturers but all they say is a big lie and nothing else. Folks at the front work area appeared to be inviting and legitimate, however, don\’t give them a chance to trick you! Perhaps the shadiest shop I have ever been to. I took my car in for diagnosis and they said it required another exchange case. Rather than examining the vehicle to analyze the issue, they asked several questions and quickly stated it needs a specific part supplanted and its $2000-$3000 dollars since they have to re-do the whole transmission. Their technical skills are low-grade and unsatisfactory. The chief revealed to me it would cost $3500 for another transmission and radiator/transmission cooler. This is excluding the cost to install everything. I asked for some more options because this was too expensive for me but he refused to help me any further. The staff is very lazy and ignorant and they have a hopeless customer service. I told them to lock my car when it’s parked outside in their lobby but when I went to pick up my car it was open and unlocked. They don’t care about the safety of your belongings. I trusted them with my vehicle but some of my expensive things could’ve been stolen because of their inattentive staff. They couldn’t manage to build transmission in a week when normally it takes less than 2 days to make it happen. The cost of the repair was just too much when it could have been done in a lot a lesser amount. The timeline for the repair was about 2 weeks which could have been possible in a week. The car got fixed way later than the scheduled date and they even charged more for that, money messing up my entire budget. After so much hassle the car was still not in perfect condition. The clutch was not fully fixed and the transmission, on the whole, was shaky and defective. At 120 miles per hour speed, the car is not running smoothly and is causing different issues. I went to see the manager personally but he didn’t suggest any possible good options. They were not ready to give any concessions or refund. The guy in the technical staff argued with me and asked me to pay more money if I wanted to get any repairs. Their repairs cost so much that my insurance wouldn’t cover all of the expenses.
I am done and over with this scam place forever. I had to go to another repair shop and got my car repaired which cost me a lot of extra money. I would like to warn everyone about Certified Transmission. They are a bunch of scams that have dollar signs in their eyes. If you want to save your money and time never step foot in this lousy place.
