Ultimate Champion is an ultraviolet blood irradiation device. These devices are used for general healing and to address inflamation. Ultimate and Tom Lowe also sell an accompanying tube, called a cuvette. Since the device itself has been in use for a long time, its continued use is allowed by the FDA without further approval. However, their marketing of the tube, or cuvette, is an unadulterated scam. | The light is to pass through this tube and transmit through to the blood. The problem is that the tube is just that — tube shaped. It transmits negligible amounts of light, as most of the light is refracted out.
