Chopperstuffinc Ebay Seller Shane

On 8/7/07 I won an auction for ebay item. After several emails and phone calls I finally received my item on 9/7/07. The item was broken and clearly misrepresented. I asked for a return shipping label to replace the item. After numerous false promises I received a shipping label and returned the broken item to him in November. On December 23 I received a different item (which were not the ones I ordered). I requested another shipping label to return everything for a full refund. On 12/26/07 he sent me an email with the word “shipped” without indicating what exactly was shipped. It’s now been six months since I won the auction and I don’t have my item or my refund. The seller refuses to return my emails and telephone calls. I had no luck filing a complaint with ebay or paypal as they don’t seem to care about auctions over 90 days old. I believe that Shane manipulated me to get past the 90 day “grace period” so he didn’t have to provide me with a refund. I have 70 emails and an gmail chat conversation I can produce to corroborate my story. In addition, I’ve been doing some research on this guy. As far as I can tell he’s done this with at least 300 other Ebay members. Several of the members I spoke with said that he harasses and threatens customers who leave him negative feedback.
