I wish I knew earlier about Chris Vergura and his rip off scam. He approached me in early October about a wholesale vehicle he wanted me to go in on. He sweet talked me into believing that if I gave him $5000.00 I would receive $7200.00 in one week. Wow, at least thats why I thought originally. My wife was very hesitant at first, but I talked her into it. Chris even brought a contract to my shop and we both signed it. I went to work and if I had only known, he probable went to the bookie to pay his debt. Chris then lied and lied to me for a month about having trouble selling the vehicle. I was patient for two weeks and after that I knew there was trouble. Every time I called him, he would lie and offer an excuse. For those who encounter him, beware he is a car salesman. He has his scam mastered. Sadly, I am not the only one he has done this to. A check of Maryland case history will show this. Whats more appalling, is that he still works at a used car lot probably searching for other victims. Hopefully, he will end up in jail. I have a court date with him on Jan. 25. Do you think he will show up. Take a wild guess. Maybe, a potential victim is reading this. Don’t be fooled. He is a liar and a cheat with your money paying off debt. I read his rebuttal to the last claim and got sick when he said he is a man of God and family. Ha, not in this lifetime. If he does write a rebuttal to my claim, keep in mind I have the contract and a copy of the check he cashed. He is a thief.
