Christina 'crystal' Salgado

I am a clinical social worker. I have been providing therapy to individuals of all ages for 12 years. I have worked with a wide variety of issues from trauma related disorders to adjustments issues, addiction, memory issues, as well as mood disorders. Through my work I have learned that life has many challenges. These challenges can be overwhelming and lead to difficulties that present themselves as mental health issues. I view my role as being a healing agent by helping client’s gain insight, learn new coping skills, and gain motivation to change.I strongly believe in being creative with my approach and making sure it reaches the client in order to make changes. I have been trained in EMDR. I have training in cognitive behavioral therapy as well as play therapy techniques. I also have training in DBT.As your therapist I promise to provide a safe space for you to heal, self reflect, and challenge yourself. I believe everyone can benefit from therapy and I honor the courage it takes to be ready for change. I see clients on Mondays thru Fridays.
