Company called stating I had written a bad check to Pizza Hut back in 2003 and that their insurance company was coming after me for cost of check ($9.62) returned check fees ($260.00) and a processing fee of $50+) The agent was able to get the original fees of over $700 “reduced” because I called them back and was willing to work with them. They stated if I didn’t take care of it immediatley, I will be charged with 3 felonies. I paid $307.62 and they promised to send me documentation detailing all of this; however, all I received was a receipt via email with no check number referenced. They did claim the call was being recorded but they never said it as an attempt to collect a debt.
