10/2006- 2005 chrysler pacifica 48,000 miles still under warranty, 7 year 70,000 mile warranty. engine starting knocking, check engine light went on brought car into dealership in area of residence, for help with problem to be taken care of under warranty. dealership called us up the day after and said our warranty and motor is on hold world wide, the cost to repair our car would be 6,000 dollars, not chrysler responsibility to fix under warranty, problem was do to lack of maintenance. All maintenance records/oil changes were supplied to dealership. Then they said the records were falsified, and we did not follow the maintenance schedule. what a nightamare one year of back and forth with hyde park motors and central avenue chrysler, we have left messages for the news repoters in new york no one to call back yet.cannot afford attorney. Have reported to the BBB and attorney General,they have don nothing either. what the hell we are the victim here not Chrysler. We have numerous reports from internet and complaints of customers having the same issue with their motors and oil issues. We are ready to fight big time, leased vehicle goes back in January 2008. we have paid on lease for 1 year since occurence and still have full insurance, and its still sitting in our driveway.there is so much more to explain our folder is so thick its crazy. Now chrysler is going to stop production of this car, they say do to lack of sales, I say bull__, it do to the fact that to many people are starting to experience a problem so thair saving their _ss from a major motor recall, what a dam shame.
