They told her that it would be about $1000 to fix it, and then it went up to $1700 and still the A/C could not be repaired. Now they are talking about $3000, and this could not be guaranteed that it could be fixed. I decided to take the car back, and they refused unless I paid them $1700 to release the car. Then they said that they may be able to repair it for $2500 then called me back and said even at that price there is no guarantee they can repair the system.At that price, I can get a whole new system for the car. Then, they offered me to trade the car in instead. I did not come to get a trade in but a repair. If your experienced mechanic cannot fix an a/c repair, I am truly bewildered. These mechanics are supposed to be very good what happened to them now? Are they a different crew then the ones that used to maintain my car previously. Whatever the repairs may be, why was this not picked up during all the maintenance service that I have had done at your dealership all these years.The fact is the a/c problem is not repaired, and the problem still remained. The mechanics not only cannot fix the problem but cannot guarantee the a./c would work. I do not understand how such experienced mechanics cannot fix an a/c problem nor guarantee that it would work. They now want $3000 for the repair which is totally ludicrous since the car is not worth that expense. I want the car back since your mechanic cannot fix the a/c problem that I brought the Van in for. I have had my all my cars service by your mechanics all the time. Why they would come up with all these expense now is a mystery to me. I no longer want my a/c to be serviced by your dealership. Your mechanic’s attempt to fix my a/c problem has failed.. Till present , still NO AC being FIXED or repaired . They have Changed tons of parts and cause the AC system nothing to run ??? What kind of professional of Honda of this ? Mr . CEO/ president , I and my relatives in Orlando area are so disappointed your Honda service and end up a loyal client for past years with 2 Honda vehicles purchased . We decide to look for difference competitors and have a true customer care.The overcharged Odyseey repairing date as below :Day 1 ———— 10/27/2010drop off and estimate about $1000 Day 2 ————10/28/2010Found out more and more issues from AC problems Day 3 ————-10/29/2010Keeping the same works of exaggerating the repair cost upto $ 3000Day 4 ————-10/30/2010visit Mr Dervin cartly manager of service down to $2550 for the AC would work Day 5 ————-10/31/2010received a call still not able to fixing it with that price.. Day 6 ————11/02/2010service advisor Maribel called my wife for the car seemed worked good and testing overnight . Day 7 ————11/03/2010email to Mr. Hutchinson ( General manager ) with never response Day 8 ————11/08/2017 Mr Dervin service manager said cost is $2185 so far and keeping the car in a lien ofrepairing money and towards to auction ..( stealing my property ! )Classic Honda givehis permission?
