We bought our home from Clayton homes of Austin in 2010. Within one month we had rain and quickly discovered we had a leak in the roof. Clayton homes sent jack of all trade repairmen who would play around on the roof but never fix the problem. Now we are outside of the one year warranty and they will do nothing to help. Clayton homes is under new management and they will not even return my calls. Here are the pictures of the overpriced homes damage. Please contact me before deciding to buy anything from Clayton homes in Austin and I’ll let you walk through my home and see what they call quality. This is the worst of the problems but there are more problems. Closet rods break away from the wall making the closet useless. Porch rails break away from post making the rail unsafe. The marriage line can be felt in the floor when walking through the home. These are all things I have been told are normal.
