DO NOT move in to Clemmons Trace Village previously known as Willow Trace unless you have no regard for your privacy, safety, and peace. It is not a “quiet community” as stated on the website. Residents are constantly bombarded by maintenance welcoming themselves freely into your apartment, and they are far from accurately depicted by the websites’ description: ” A professional on-site management and maintenance team are waiting for you.” There is no courtesy extended to third shift working tenants when loud, disruptive work is undertaken. Waking up to the walls shaking from a saw cutting through the drywall at the head of your bed is a daily occurance. If you are from New York City or Detroit this could potentially be “peaceful”. But we have chosen North Carolina, Clemmons in particular, and the surrounding areas are considered suburbs, not construction sites, or a city riddled with underground subways, or high-rise coal-powered trains. There is a certain expectation when choosing this area to live and Clemmons Trace Village falls short in all expectations.
