The Cleo has a Board of Trustees consisting of many well respected members of the Community. Its Executive Director, Caroline Lewis, is another matter entirely. Despite their fiduciary responsibility the Board has allowed Executive Director, Caroline Lewis to pay herself $80,040 in salary, covered $9,259.00 in her payroll taxes and allowed her to take the sum of $24,000.00 as an u201coccupancy feeu201d from the $180,000 in donations received in 2016. Or, approximately, Any person with even a rudimentary education would be acutely aware that the Cleo Institute is nothing more than the Lewisu2019 piggy bank. Caroline Lewis claims to work an average of 40 hours per week for the Cleo Institute, yet also manages to work full time as the Director of High School at the Cushman School. A position she obtained based upon a plethora of misrepresentations as to her qualifications. In fact, Lewis has been summarily dismissed for ever major postion she has obtained. The Cleo Scam is by far her longest occupation. Taking well meaning donations to pay for her luxury apartment, new car and extensive travel.
