Cobb EMC has added a compulsory charge to customer monthly bills called a Round Up charge. This illegal charge is not voluntary, and all customers must pay it or your montly bill will be placed in past due status. If a customer tries to Op Out, the Round Up charge will just continue to appear on your montly bill. Customers were given no choice or say about this new Round Up charge. Without any notice, Cobb EMC began adding it to all customer bills. The Round Up money is given to so called charities which are favorites of the Cobb EMC board of directors. These so called charities do not represent customer values or local community values. Many groups receiving the money represent political causes. The new Cobb EMC board of directors is as bad as the old board. They Rip Off their customers!
